Ayúdanos a que mi papá vuelva a caminar sin dolor

Hola, mi nombre es Gerardo Antonio Estrada y te quiero contar nuestra historia con el corazón en la mano.

Mi papá, Luis Antonio Estrada, siempre ha sido una persona activa, trabajadora y llena de vida, entregado a su trabajo por muchos años y un ejemplo de amor a todos y en especial mucho amor hacia su familia. Hace mas de 8 meses fue operado de la rodilla y le colocaron una prótesis, pero lamentablemente la cirugía no salió bien y ahora tiene una infección muy fuerte que pone en riesgo su movilidad y su salud. Ya hemos pasado por muchas revisiones y tratamientos que además de ser dolorosos para mi padre, han sido muy costosos.

Ahora después de unos estudios los doctores nos comentan que necesita una nueva operación lo antes posible para retirar la prótesis, limpiar la infección y darle una nueva oportunidad de volver a caminar sin dolor. Esta cirugía, la protesis especial que necesita y el tratamiento son muy costosos y, como familia, no podemos cubrirlos solos.

Por eso hoy me atrevo a pedir tu ayuda.

Cada aportación, por pequeña que sea, nos acerca a poder pagar su operación y que mi papá pueda recuperar su vida normal.

"One more step to help my dad walk again"

Hello, my name is Gerardo Antonio Estrada, and I want to share our story straight from the heart.

My dad, Luis Antonio Estrada, has always been an active, hardworking, and full-of-life person. For many years, he dedicated himself to his work and, above all, to his family, always being an example of love and commitment.

More than 8 months ago, he had knee surgery to have a prosthesis placed, but unfortunately, the procedure didn’t go well. Now he is facing a severe infection that puts both his mobility and his health at risk. These months have been very hard, full of check-ups and treatments that, besides being painful for him, have also been very expensive for our family.

After several tests, the doctors have told us that he urgently needs a new surgery to remove the prosthesis, clean out the infection, and give him the chance to walk again without pain. This surgery, the special prosthesis he now requires, and the treatment afterward are extremely costly, and as a family, we simply can’t cover these expenses on our own.

That is why today I am asking for your help.

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to being able to pay for his surgery and helping my dad get back to a normal life.
