Ayúdanos a Honrar y Recordar a Mi Mamá, Josefina.

Queridos amigos y familiares,

Con el corazón lleno de tristeza, comparto la desgarradora noticia del fallecimiento de mi mamá, Josefina. No solo fue una madre increíble, sino también una amiga amorosa e inspiración para todos los que la conocieron. A principios de Julio de 2023, a mi mamá le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama triple negativo, una forma particularmente agresiva de la enfermedad. A lo largo de su lucha, mostró una extraordinaria fortaleza y gracia, siempre logrando sonreír y elevar el ánimo de quienes la rodeaban incluso en los momentos más difíciles.

Mi mamá deja atrás a su esposo devoto, Manuel Columbie, con quien compartió 43 años de hermoso matrimonio, y a sus tres hijos: Michael Columbie, Lazaro Iglesias y yo, Claire Columbie. Ella fue una orgullosa abuela de Mia Rojas, Nathan Martinez y Baby Rojas, quienes siempre llevarán su amor y espíritu con ellos. Nuestros corazones están rotos y la extrañamos profundamente, pero también estamos decididos a honrar su memoria celebrando el amor y la luz que trajo a nuestras vidas.

Mientras enfrentamos los difíciles días que nos esperan, mi familia y yo estamos unidos para planear un funeral y honrar su vida de una manera que refleje la persona que fue. Desafortunadamente, los costos asociados con el servicio y otros arreglos son más de lo que podemos manejar solos, por lo que humildemente pedimos su ayuda.

Help Us Honor and Remember My Mom, Josefina

Dear friends and family,

With a heavy heart, I share the heartbreaking news of my mom, Josefina, passing away. She was not only an incredible mother but also a loving friend and an inspiration to everyone who knew her. In early July of 2023, my mom was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, a particularly aggressive form of the disease. Throughout her fight, she showed extraordinary strength and grace, always managing to smile and uplift those around her even during the toughest moments.

My mom leaves behind her devoted husband, Manuel Columbie, with whom she shared 43 beautiful years of marriage, and three children: Michael Columbie, Lazaro Iglesias, and me, Claire Columbie. She was a proud grandmother to Mia Rojas, Nathan Martinez, and Baby Rojas, who will always carry her love and spirit with them. Our hearts are broken, and we miss her deeply, but we are also determined to honor her memory by celebrating the love and light she brought into our lives.

As we face the difficult days ahead, my family and I are coming together to plan a funeral and honor her life in a way that reflects the person she was. Unfortunately, the costs associated with the service and other arrangements are more than we can manage alone, and we are humbly reaching out for help.
