Mi hermana de 49 años padece artritis reumatoide severa desde los 24 años y lamentablemente hoy una de sus rodillas ya no puede más, no tiene cartílago, sus huesos se han pegado y su piernita se está deformando. Hoy ya no puede apoyarse ni caminar con normalidad.

La única solución es una operación de prótesis de rodilla, donde deberán limar hueso, colocar la prótesis y darle la oportunidad de volver a caminar y tener una vida digna.

El costo de la cirugía es de $250,000 MXN, cantidad con la que nuestra familia no cuenta. Por eso hoy recurrimos a ustedes, con el corazón en la mano, para pedir ayuda.

Hello, we are Karla and Tania, Claudia’s sister. Our entire family is working together to raise funds for her surgery.

My sister, who is 49 years old, has suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis since the age of 24. Sadly, one of her knees can no longer endure the damage—it has no cartilage left, her bones have fused together, and her leg is beginning to deform. Today, she can no longer support herself or walk normally.

The only solution is a knee replacement surgery, where the bone will be reshaped, a prosthesis placed, and with it, the chance for her to walk again and live with dignity.
