Josué 1:9 ¡Sed fuertes y valientes!

Aunque el miedo a menudo ha intentado paralizarnos, con tanta oposición que hemos enfrentado durante el proceso migratorio de mi hija María Paz, hemos sido valientes y firmes en nuestra lucha. Llevamos cuatro años luchando para que mi hija y mi nieto permanezcan en este país. Ha sido un proceso agotador, tanto emocional como económicamente. Hemos pasado por todos los trámites migratorios, incluyendo la solicitud de una visa humanitaria, y hemos presentado todas las pruebas necesarias de nuestro vínculo. Mi nieto llegó aquí cuando tenía dos años y medio y ha pasado seis años y medio, casi toda su vida, en Canadá. Esto significa que tiene una fuerte conexión con este país. María Paz y yo también hemos presentado otras pruebas; sin embargo, fueron rechazadas. Por esta razón, la única opción que nos queda es apelar la visa humanitaria ante los tribunales federales. Obviamente, esto implica un nuevo proceso en el que tendremos que pagar abogados con nuestros recursos económicos, que ya están al límite. Hemos recaudado la mitad, pero aún necesitamos la otra mitad. Por eso pido desesperadamente a todos que contribuyan con lo que puedan. Necesitamos ayuda. No podemos rendirnos, sobre todo ahora que viene un bebé. Mi hija no puede ser deportada a Chile con sus dos hijos y sin el apoyo de su familia, que somos nosotros. No podemos separarnos. Although fear has often tried to paralyze us, with so much opposition we have faced during my daughter María Paz, immigration process, we have been brave and firm in our fight. We have been fighting for four years for my daughter and grandson to remain in this country. It has been an exhausting process, both emotionally and financially. We have gone through all the immigration procedures, including applying for a humanitarian visa, and we have provided all the necessary evidence of our bond. My grandson arrived here when he was two and a half years old, and he has spent six and a half years, almost his entire life, in Canada. This means he has a strong connection to this country. María Paz and I have also submitted other evidence; however, they were rejected. For this reason, the only option we have left is to appeal the humanitarian visa to the federal courts. Obviously, this means a new process where we will have to pay for lawyers out of our financial resources, which are already stretched to the limit. We have raised half, but we still need the other half. That is why I desperately ask everyone to contribute what they can. We need help. We cannot give up, especially now that a baby is on the way. My daughter cannot be deported to Chile with her two children, and without the support of her family, which is us. We cannot be separated. We cannot give up now. Any help would be welcome.
