Actualizcion Mayo 25 6pm:
Hola, mi mama ha estado en casa desde el domingo ya que no contamos con suficientes fondos para ingresarla al hospital. Tiene cuidado medico 24/7 bajo la supervision del Dr. Jorge Prieto y 2 enfermeras. Han mejorado sus niveles de glicemia y creatinina. Ya no requiere oxigeno porque ha mantenido la saturacion en 94 desde ayer sin ayuda de bombona de oxigeno. Hoy ha tolerado mejor los liquidos. Tambien la evaluo una medijo cirujano para descartar cualquier otra condicion y dijo que todo estaba bien. Seguimos esperando que siga mejorando cada dia. Gracias por sus oraciones y por estar pendientes. ❤️
Update May 25 6pm:
Hi, my mom has been home since Sunday because we did not have sufficient funds to keep her in the hospital. She has medical supervision 24/7 under the care of Dr. Jorge Prieto and she has 2 nurses at home too. Her glycemia and creatinine levels have lowered. She no longer requires the oxygen tank as she has been breathing on her own and her saturation has been stable at 94 since yesterday. She has tolerated liquids much better as well. Today a surgeon examined her in order to rule out any other conditions and she said everything looked fine. We are still waiting for her to get better each day. Thank you for your prayers and for keeping up with her condition. ❤️

Hola, mi mamá anoche fue ingresada al hospital nuevamente con baja saturación de oxígeno y un cuadro de hiperglucemia severo. Luego de varios exámenes médicos y de tratar toda la noche y la mañana de hoy (23 de mayo) de estabilizarla, no han podido y requiere ser ingresada al hospital para recibir cuidados médicos intensivos. Tiene los niveles de glicemia y creatinina muy elevados y de no estabilizarla puede resultar en fallo renal. El costo es de $15,000 pagados por adelantado para que la ingresen a la clínica.
Estamos solicitando cualquier colaboración que esté a su alcance. Gracias ❤️
Update:
Hi, my mom was taken back to the hospital last night with low oxygen levels and a severe case of hypoglycemia. After several medical exams and trying to stabilize her all night and this morning (May 23rd), they have not been able to and she requires to be hospitalized and receive more intensive care. Her glycemia and creatinine levels are very high and if she is not stabilized, her kidneys can start to fail. The cost to admit her into the hospital is $15,000 paid in advance to the hospital.

El dia 11 de mayo a mi mama la diagnosticaron con COVID. Ha estado en tratamiento en casa, sin embargo hoy fue ingresada a la clinica bajo supervision del Dr Carlos Parra. Se esta manejando la posibilidad de mantener el tratamiento en casa con supervision medica y enfermera 24/7. Debido a los altos costos de los medicamento y de la situacion en Venezuela, nos vemos obligados a solicitar ayuda de amigos y familiares para poder cubrir con los gastos. Si esta en su posibilidad colaborar, cualquier ayuda es bienvenida.

On May 11th, my mom was diagnosed with COVID. She had been receiving medical treatment at home, however, today she was rushed to the hospital and is under the care of Dr Carlos Parra. We are studying the possibility of continuing with the treatment at home with medical supervision 24/7. Due to the high costs of medicine and the entire situation in Venezuela, we are forced to ask for help from friends and family in order to pay for the expenses.
