Hola, mi nombre es Jonhatan Israel Díaz Yaya, tengo 51 años, soy venezolano, padre de tres hijos maravillosos de 19, 18 y 4 años. Trabajo como técnico en redes y conexiones, y también soy poeta de corazón.

A principios de marzo comencé a sentir molestias: alergias persistentes, acidez estomacal, pérdida de apetito y un descenso drástico de peso. El 2 de mayo de 2025, recibí una noticia que cambió vida por completo: fui diagnosticado con cáncer pulmonar. El diagnóstico médico es adenocarcinoma moderadamente diferenciado con patrón lepidico mucinoso.

Mi mundo se paralizó. Esta ha sido, sin duda, la noticia más dura que he enfrentado. Pero decidí no rendirme. Junto a mi familia, hemos optado por enfrentar esta batalla con fe, esperanza y valentía, convencidos de que cada prueba trae consigo una oportunidad de crecimiento.

Hoy recurro a ti, con humildad, para pedirte que te unas a esta causa solidaria. Mi mayor deseo es vivir: ver crecer a mi hijo pequeño, Jeremías, y acompañar a mis otros hijos en sus sueños y logros.

En Venezuela, los recursos médicos son muy limitados, y el costo de los estudios, tratamientos de quimioterapia y radioterapia es inalcanzable para mí. Por eso hemos creado esta campaña, para pedirte que, si está en tus posibilidades, nos apoyes con un aporte económico y difundas esta causa.

Hello, my name is Jonhatan Israel Díaz Yaya, I’m 51 years old, Venezuelan, and a proud father of three amazing children—ages 19, 18, and 4. I work in tech support for networks and connections, and I’m also a poet at heart.

In early March, I began experiencing allergy-like symptoms, followed by stomach issues—acid reflux, loss of appetite, and a rapid drop in weight. On May 2nd, 2025, my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with moderately differentiated lung adenocarcinoma with a lepidic mucinous pattern.

It was the hardest news I’ve ever received. My world stopped and everything turned gray. But I chose not to give up. Together with my family, we’ve decided to face this battle with faith, courage, and the hope that this painful chapter will become one of growth and learning.

Today, I come to you with a humble heart, asking for your help. I want to live—to watch my youngest son, Jeremías, grow up, and to see my older children chase their dreams and become everything they’re meant to be.

Sadly, in Venezuela, medical resources are scarce and the costs of tests, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments are far beyond what I can afford. That’s why we’ve started this campaign: to reach out and ask for your support, however big or small.
