Hace más de siete años fui diagnosticada con cáncer papilar de tiroides. Desde entonces, mi vida cambió por completo. Me realizaron una tiroidectomía total (me extrajeron toda la tiroides), y desde entonces dependo exclusivamente de un tratamiento hormonal de por vida para poder vivir con estabilidad.

Lamentablemente, mi cuerpo ha dejado de absorber correctamente la hormona tiroidea, lo cual me ha llevado a sufrir un descontrol severo: vivo en un sube y baja constante entre hipotiroidismo e hipertiroidismo. Las consecuencias han sido devastadoras.

Hace poco, sufrí un infarto. Las troponinas cardíacas se dispararon y fui hospitalizada de emergencia por tres días. Fue una señal de alerta que no puedo seguir ignorando… pero por falta de recursos económicos, me está siendo imposible acceder a los estudios y tratamientos necesarios para seguir luchando.

Exámenes de eco de tejidos blandos del cuello

Estudio de rastreo de posible reaparición del cáncer

Tratamiento con suplementos y hormona tiroidea

Estos procedimientos no son un lujo, son una necesidad vital para seguir viviendo. Ya debí realizarme un rastreo a los 5 años de operada, pero no he podido cubrirlo. No quiero esperar a que sea demasiado tarde.
