Mi nombre es Jannina, soy matemática y tengo 47 años.

Hace tres años fui diagnosticada con sarcoma del estroma endometrial, un tipo de cáncer extremadamente raro que afecta a 1 o 2 mujeres por millón cada año. He enfrentado esta enfermedad con toda mi fuerza: pasé por cirugía, quimioterapia y todos los tratamientos convencionales disponibles.

Durante este tiempo, perdí mi empleo debido a las largas incapacidades, lo cual ha dificultado mucho cubrir mis gastos médicos.

En 2024, el cáncer volvió con más fuerza. A pesar de estar todo un año en quimioterapia, los tumores siguen creciendo. La efectividad de la quimio disminuye con el tiempo, y ahora necesito explorar una nueva alternativa: la medicina regenerativa.

Este tratamiento busca mejorar mi calidad de vida, darme más tiempo con mis seres queridos y aliviar los síntomas de esta enfermedad tan agresiva. Sin embargo, no está cubierto por el sistema público de salud, y su costo es elevado para mí.

¿Cómo puedes ayudarme?

El tratamiento consiste en aplicaciones semanales durante un año. El costo total es de MXN $150,000. Estoy buscando apoyo para cubrir esta cantidad y poder acceder a esta oportunidad que me da esperanza.

Help Jannina Overcome a Rare and Aggressive Cancer

Hi, my name is Jannina, I’m a 47-year-old mathematician from Mexico.

Three years ago, I was diagnosed with endometrial stromal sarcoma, an extremely rare and aggressive cancer that affects only 1 or 2 women per million each year. Since then, I’ve faced it with all my strength — going through surgery, chemotherapy, and every conventional treatment available.

Unfortunately, in 2024, the cancer came back stronger. Despite a full year of chemotherapy, the tumors continue to grow, and the treatment is losing its effectiveness. I now need to explore a new alternative: regenerative medicine.

This new treatment offers hope — a way to improve my quality of life, manage symptoms, and spend more time with my loved ones.
