Hello,
My name is Diego Eduardo Guevara Sánchez, and I am sharing my story in hopes of continuing my education and honoring the sacrifices that brought me this far.
I was raised in a household built on hard work, resilience, and shared responsibility. From a young age, I learned that every decision mattered and that supporting one another was part of daily life. Education was never taken for granted—it was something protected with effort, discipline, and hope for a better future.
When I was 11 years old, I was introduced to Agronomy, and it changed the way I saw my life. It was not simply about choosing a path, but about discovering that learning could become a way forward—for me and for those who have always stood beside me. Agronomy gave meaning to effort, turned sacrifice into purpose, and planted the belief that progress is possible through education.
I remember walking through the supermarket with my parents and telling myself I wasn’t hungry, simply because I wanted to make things a little easier for them. Even in small moments, I learned that care, awareness, and unity can carry a family through difficult times.
At home, we were six people sharing life together. One of them was my grandmother, who fought breast cancer with metastasis. During the pandemic, we cared for her at home while facing uncertainty and financial strain. Those years were difficult, but they also strengthened us. They taught me endurance, gratitude, and the importance of moving forward even when the path is unclear.
After graduating, I was accepted into the Pan-American Agricultural School, Zamorano, and received a scholarship. That opportunity represents hope—not only for me, but for my family. However, the scholarship does not cover all expenses, and after exhausting many options, my family has taken on significant debt to support my education.
Today, I stand at a moment where continued financial support can make the difference between stopping and moving forward.
I truly believe that with the right help, I can finish my education and turn this opportunity into meaningful impact.
Your support would help cover:
Tuition and academic expenses
Essential educational costs
Relief for the financial pressure my family is currently carrying
I am not asking for charity alone, but for a chance—a chance to keep building, learning, and giving back through education.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings hope closer to reality and helps ensure that sacrifice leads to opportunity.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for believing in the power of education and perseverance.
With sincere gratitude,
Diego Eduardo Guevara Sánchez
