Hello friends and family,

We are going through a very difficult time filled with uncertainty and pain. As many of you know, my Mochi is a little kitten who recently came into our lives, and from day one she has suffered. She suffered because her previous adopter no longer wanted her. She came to me with a broken tail and weighing only 2 kg.

We had to amputate her tail, and after that she developed an infection, so almost all of her time with us has been spent being “fragile” and unwell. Just when it finally seemed like everything was getting better… she stopped eating.

Yesterday, we rushed her to the emergency vet, and they told us she has feline coronavirus, which has mutated in her body and caused feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). This is a serious disease, and although treatment exists in some countries like Spain, it is very expensive.

Right now, Mochi has very low red blood cells and urgently needs a blood transfusion. She also has fluid in her abdomen and her liver is in very bad condition.

So please, if at any point in your life I have helped you, given you advice, or been there for you in any way, I am asking you from the bottom of my heart to please help me save Mochi.

hola amigos y familia, estamos pasando un momento de mucha incertidumbre y dolor, mi mochi como muchos saben, es una gatita que llegó hace poco a nuestra vida y desde el día uno sufrió, sufrió porque su anterior adoptante no la quiso más, me la dio con la cola rota y pesando 2kg, tuvimos que amputarle la cola y después de eso le dio una infección así que casi todo el tiempo con nosotros se la pasó “delicada”, cuando porfin parecía que se estaba acabando todo… deja de comer. Ayer fuimos al veterinario de urgencia y nos dijeron que le había dado coronavirus felino, y ha mutado en su cuerpo causándole una peritonitis infecciosa felina, algo que en muy pocos países hay tratamientos y España es uno de ellos, el tratamiento es caro pero no imposible. Ahora mismo tiene muy pocos glóbulos rojos, necesita una transfusión de sangre, tiene líquido en el abdomen y muy mal el hígado. Así que porfavor si en algún momento de tu vida te ayude, te di un consejo o te hecho una mano, necesito que me devuelvas el favor y me ayudes a salvar a Mochi.
