Hola, mi nombre es Arelys, soy de Ecuador, soy intérprete y maestra de lengua de señas ecuatoriana, y también una persona con discapacidad auditiva. Desde hace varios años he dedicado mi vida a enseñar, interpretar y apoyar a la comunidad sorda, tanto en el ámbito educativo como espiritual. De forma voluntaria, también comparto con amor el mensaje de Dios en lengua de señas, ayudando a que más personas sordas y también sordociegos puedan conocerlo y sentirse incluidas.

Actualmente, mi pérdida auditiva ha avanzado, y necesito adquirir audífonos especializados para continuar mi tratamiento y mantener mi capacidad de comunicación. Sin embargo, mis circunstancias económicas no me permiten cubrir este gasto por el momento, ya que trabajo de manera independiente y mis ingresos son limitados.

Con tu apoyo, podré continuar ejerciendo mi labor como intérprete y docente, y seguir ayudando a otras personas sordas a aprender, comunicarse y sentirse valoradas. Cada aporte, por pequeño que parezca, hace una gran diferencia en mi vida y en la de quienes me rodean.

Hello, my name is Arelys, and I’m from Ecuador. I am a sign language interpreter and teacher, and I also live with a hearing disability. For several years, I have dedicated my life to teaching, interpreting, and supporting the deaf community, both in education and in faith.

As a volunteer, I lovingly share God’s message in sign language, helping more deaf and deafblind people know Him and feel included.

Currently, my hearing loss has progressed, and I need to purchase specialized hearing aids to continue my treatment and maintain my ability to communicate. However, my financial situation does not allow me to cover this expense right now, as I work independently and my income is limited.

With your support, I will be able to continue working as an interpreter and teacher, and keep helping others in the deaf community learn, communicate, and feel valued. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference in my life and in the lives of those around me.
