Mi nombre es Yda Josefina Pirela Romero, tengo 72 años y soy una mujer de fe que siempre ha creído en ayudar a quienes me rodean. Vivo sola; Dios no me concedió la oportunidad de tener hijos y, hace varios años, perdí a mi esposo y a mis padres. Actualmente me encuentro retirada de mi trabajo debido a mi estado de salud.

En el año 2019 enfrenté una de las batallas más difíciles de mi vida: fui diagnosticada con cáncer de mama. Gracias a Dios, a los médicos y a los tratamientos recibidos, logré superar esa enfermedad después de una cirugía en la que me fue removido el seno derecho. Desde entonces he mantenido controles médicos periódicos cada seis meses para vigilar mi salud.

Recientemente, durante uno de mis chequeos de rutina y una citología anual solicitada por mi oncóloga, los especialistas detectaron una anomalía que requiere estudios más profundos. Posteriormente me realizaron ecografías especializadas, cuyos resultados indicaron un:

“Hallazgo a nivel del cérvix altamente sospechoso de lesión neoplásica.”

Debido a esta situación, los médicos han recomendado realizar con carácter de urgencia los siguientes procedimientos diagnósticos:

Colposcopia con biopsia de exocérvix.

Biopsia de endocérvix.

Biopsia de endometrio.

Estos estudios son fundamentales para obtener un diagnóstico preciso y, de ser necesario, iniciar tratamiento lo antes posible. Sin embargo, el costo de los procedimientos excede por completo mis posibilidades económicas como persona jubilada.

Por ello, hoy acudo humildemente a ustedes para solicitar su ayuda. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que parezca, me acercará a la posibilidad de realizarme estos estudios y cuidar mi salud a tiempo.

Help Me Obtain Urgent Medical Testing

My name is Yda Josefina Pirela Romero. I am 72 years old and a woman of faith who has always believed in helping others whenever possible. I live alone; God did not bless me with children, and I lost my husband and my parents several years ago. I am currently retired due to my health condition.

In 2019, I faced one of the greatest challenges of my life when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. By God’s grace, the dedication of my doctors, and the treatment I received, I was able to overcome the disease after undergoing surgery in which my right breast was removed. Since then, I have attended regular medical checkups every six months to monitor my health.

Recently, during one of my routine follow-up visits and an annual Pap smear requested by my oncologist, doctors detected an abnormality that required further evaluation. Additional specialized ultrasound examinations revealed:

“A finding at the level of the cervix highly suspicious for a neoplastic lesion.”

As a result, my doctors have urgently recommended the following diagnostic procedures:

* Colposcopy with exocervical biopsy.

* Endocervical biopsy.

* Endometrial biopsy.

These tests are essential to obtain an accurate diagnosis and, if necessary, begin treatment as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the cost of these procedures is far beyond my financial means as a retired individual.

For this reason, I am humbly asking for your support. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will bring me one step closer to obtaining the medical care I urgently need.
