Hello, my name is Mathias David Vivas Luján. I am 13 years old, and ever since I was 4, I have had one big dream: to become a professional soccer player ⚽.

My mom and I are Venezuelan migrants who arrived in the United States two years ago with the hope of building a better future. I currently live with only my mom, since my dad remains in Venezuela. She works very hard every day to support me, but covering all the expenses in this country is very challenging for one person alone. The costs of tournaments, uniforms, and travel are very high, and right now, we simply don’t have the resources to cover them.

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old, and thanks to my dedication and passion, I have received recognition in my home country. My mom made the brave decision to migrate so that I could pursue my soccer career, since unfortunately in Venezuela there are very few opportunities to grow.

Since arriving in the U.S., I have been part of the Orlando City South Soccer Academy in Orlando, Florida.

This year, I have the chance to participate in an important tournament in Arizona, from December 5th to 15th, an event that could open many doors for my athletic career.

To make this dream possible, we need the support of kind-hearted people who believe in the dreams of young athletes. The tournament lasts 10 days, and because of the distance between Orlando and Arizona, we must cover airfare, lodging, meals, and other expenses that are currently beyond our reach.

Your support, whether big or small, will be a seed in my journey toward achieving my goal.

Hola, mi nombre es Mathias David Vivas Luján, tengo 13 años y desde los 4 años tengo un gran sueño: convertirme en futbolista profesional ⚽.

Mi mamá y yo somos migrantes venezolanos y llegamos a Estados Unidos hace 2 años con la esperanza de construir un mejor futuro. Actualmente vivo solo con mi mamá, ya que mi papá permanece en Venezuela. Ella trabaja muy duro cada día para apoyarme, pero cubrir todos los gastos en este país es muy difícil para una sola persona. Los costos de torneos, uniformes y viajes son bastante altos, y en este momento no contamos con los recursos suficientes.

Juego fútbol desde los 5 años y gracias a mi constancia y pasión he recibido reconocimientos en mi país natal. Mi mamá tomó la valiente decisión de migrar para darme la oportunidad de crecer en mi carrera deportiva, ya que en Venezuela las oportunidades son muy limitadas.

Desde mi llegada, formo parte de la Escuela de Fútbol Orlando City South, en Orlando, Florida.

Este año tengo la oportunidad de participar en un importante torneo en Arizona, del 5 al 15 de diciembre, un evento que podría abrirme muchas puertas en mi camino deportivo.

Para hacerlo realidad, necesitamos la ayuda de personas de buen corazón que crean en los sueños de los jóvenes. Son 10 días de torneo que implican viajes en avión, hospedaje, alimentación y otros gastos que hoy nos resultan inalcanzables.

Tu apoyo, grande o pequeño, será una semilla en mi camino para alcanzar mi meta.
