Ayúdame a estar entero otra vez. Help me to be whole again.

Nunca pensé en usar este tipo de sitios o de ayuda, pero las circunstancias de la vida nos llevan a hacer ciertas cosas...

Mi nombre es Víctor y el día 12 de Marzo tuve un accidente de trabajo que me ha dejado en casa por ya cerca de 2 meses, una puerta de vidrio templado explotó y cayo en mi cabeza, cuello, brazo y mano predominantemente izquierdas, primero los doctores decían que era un simple golpe, pero después de 15 días de no sanar, me "diagnosticaron" lupus (Diagnostico que no fue real, solo fue un dato alarmante que quisieron dar), lo cual me llevó a buscar una ayuda más profesional y me diagnosticaron por fin una cervicalgia desmielinizante bilateral (En pocas palabras, los nervios desde mi cuello fueron rotos por el impacto y causan dolor, hinchazón y debilidad en ambos brazos desde el cuello) y además encontraron una hernia lumbosacra que no me deja caminar de forma adecuada.

Como mencioné, ya tengo 2 meses en casa, la empresa para la que laboraba decidió despedirme, dejándome con todo el problema, ya que el servicio medico del gobierno se negó a hacer una operación y la prestación de servicio de gastos médicos mayores que tenía en mi ahora ex-trabajo, me dicen que espere un año para poder operar dicha hernia.

Las donaciones que puedan dar, serán usadas para pagar dicha cirugía en un servicio particular, rehabilitarme, comprar medicamentos y poder sortear estos meses en que me encontraré sin trabajo y convaleciente, ya que los doctores hicieron mención de que en alrededor 8 meses yo estaré nuevamente en pie (Pero sin una forma de ganar dinero, para mi será bastante difícil, tampoco pido que una sola persona aporte todo, cada peso cuenta y agradeceré de corazón lo que puedan ayudarme).

Ayúdenme por favor a estar nuevamente de pie, sin dolor y que pueda ser útil para mi propia vida.

He recibido algunos comentarios de forma personal, donde me dicen que pido demasiado, tal vez así se vea por fuera, pero personalmente, es otra historia. En vista de que las circunstancias pasan y pueden ocurrir, entonces desglosaré los escenarios que pueden pasar con esta situación:

Escenario 1:

En el hipotético caso de que todo salga mal, tan mal, que yo muera en la mesa de operación (Puede pasar, ya que la anestesia puede medirse mal y causar un infarto, el doctor puede distraerse y pinchar alguna arteria, etc.) El dinero restante después de cubrir costos de operación, será para mi familia para cubrir gastos funerarios y demás cosas.

Escenario 2:

En el hipotético caso de que salga vivo, puedo no salir bien de dicha cirugía y tal vez necesitar otra (u otras), podría quedar con parálisis en una o dos piernas, con dolor crónico de espalda o cualquier otra mala consecuencia de dicha cirugía, por lo que me veré en la obligación de adaptar mi entorno de acuerdo a mis nuevas necesidades, lo cual obviamente conlleva gastos fuertes.

Escenario 3:

En caso de que todo salga bien, la cirugía me deje caminando perfectamente, aún me quedan 8 meses de recuperación, entre convalecencia y rehabilitación, yo estimo de 1 a 1 año y medio de desempleo, yo vivo aún en casa familiar y mis padres son adultos mayores enfermos, cuando aún estaba trabajando, varios gastos eran cubiertos con mi salario (Servicios, comida, deudas familiares y personales), salario que obviamente ahorita no percibiré, hasta que me encuentre sano y pueda buscar un nuevo trabajo, pero sabemos que en nuestro país las ofertas laborales no siempre son las mejores y encontrar trabajo lleva bastante tiempo.

Escenario 4:

En el maravilloso caso de que todo salga bien, me recupere en 8 meses y al mes 9 o 10 encuentre yo un nuevo trabajo, todas mis necesidades estén cubiertas y aún sobre dinero, el sobrante puedo darlo a las distintas causas que están en go fund me, aún hay más gente la cual necesita ayuda y daría ese restante a distintos otros casos, ya que distintas personas me ayudan, podría ayudar a otros y nombre de ustedes.

Agradeciendo de antemano nuevamente la ayuda que puedan darme, iré editando esta recaudación conforme los hechos se desarrollen.

He decidido actualizar la cantidad a recaudar, ya que tuve una consulta con un cirujano quien me dió una mejor opción y pronóstico, agradezco de antemano la ayuda que puedan dar.

My name is Victor and on March 12th I had a Work related accident that has left me at home for over 2 months already, a glass door exploded and fell over my head, neck, arm and left hand predominantly, first the doctors said that it was a simple blow, but after 15 days without recovery, I was “ diagnosed” with Lupus (Such a Diagnosis wasn't real, it was just an alarming and random thing they wanted to give), which led me to seek for a more professional help and finally got diagnosed with bilateral demyelinating cervicalgia (In other words, my neck nerves broke by the impact and they cause pain, swelling and weakness in both arms from the neck) and they also found a lumbar hernia that prevents me from walking properly.

As I mentioned, I’ve been at home for over 2 months, and the company that I worked for decided to fire me, leaving me with all this problem, because the government medical service is refusing to perform such a surgery and the major medical expenses benefit that I had in my now previous work, is asking me to wait for a whole year to perform such surgery (lumbar hernia).

All the donations that you can provide will be used to pay for the surgery in a private medical service, get physical rehab, buy medicine and live for the upcoming months in which I’ll be unemployed and convalescent, since the doctors mentioned that in 8 months time I’ll be back on my feet (but without a way to earn money, it will be quite difficult for me I’m not asking for a single person to provide everything, each peso counts and I would appreciate from the bottom of my heart all that you can give me).

Help me please to be back on my feet again, without pain and to be useful for my own life.

I’ve received some personal comments, in which people tells me that I ask too much and maybe it seems like that in the outside, but personally, it’s a whole other story. Things can happen and I will explain the possible scenarios that might occur.

Scenario 1:

In case that everything goes wrong, so wrong that I might die in the operating table (It might happen, because of a bad anesthetic and cause a heart attack, the doctor might get distracted and pinch an artery, etc) the remaining money after covering surgery expenses will be used for my family to cover funeral expenses among other things.

Scenario 2:

In the case that I come out of it alive, I might not be quite well after such surgery and maybe need another (or others), I could end up with paralysis in one or even both legs, chronic back pain, or any other bad consequence of such surgery, which I will have to adapt to and all of my surroundings according to my new needs, which of course, needs a lot of money.

Scenario 3:

In case that everything goes fine, I can walk perfectly again and such, there are still 8 months of recovery, between convalescence and physical rehab, I count 1 up to 1 year and a half of being unemployed, I still live in a family house and both my parents are seniors and they’re ill, when I was still working, several of the house expenses were covered by my salary (Bills, groceries, personal and family debts), salary that I would not receive, until I’m healthy and can find a new job, but in my country (México) it’s real hard to find a job and the offers are not always good, which takes a long time to get.

Scenario 4:

In the wonderful case that everything goes great, I recover my health in 8 months and by the 9th or 10th month I find a new job, all my needs covered and there are still some more money, the remaining money I will donate it to the different causes around go fund me, there are still a lot of people that need help and I will share the help among other causes and cases, if I get the help I need, I will help others on your behalf.
