Hola, mi nombre es Ximena Vickers y quiero compartirte mi historia.

A inicios del año pasado, mi vida cambió por completo. Recibí la noticia de que estaba embarazada, una mezcla de emociones entre felicidad, miedo e incertidumbre. Al mismo tiempo, comenzaba un nuevo trabajo con la ilusión de mejorar mi situación económica y salir adelante, pero las cosas no resultaron como esperaba.

Sin embargo, poco después, el 25 de julio, fui víctima de un asalto violento que marcó mi vida. Tres motocicletas me interceptaron y recibí cuatro impactos de bala. Gracias a Dios sobreviví, y mi bebé también siguió luchando conmigo.

Este evento no solo afectó mi salud física y emocional, sino también mi estabilidad económica. Debido a la gravedad de lo ocurrido, estuve aproximadamente 6 meses sin poder trabajar (de julio a diciembre), primero por mi recuperación y luego por la suspensión de maternidad.

Durante ese tiempo, mis ingresos se detuvieron, pero las responsabilidades no. Las deudas, préstamos y gastos básicos se acumularon, llevándome a una situación financiera muy difícil que hoy sigo intentando superar.

Actualmente, soy mamá soltera y estoy haciendo todo lo posible por salir adelante y construir una vida estable para mi bebé. Cuento con el apoyo emocional de mi mamá y mis hermanas, pero económicamente la carga ha sido muy fuerte.

Hoy, con mucha humildad, vuelvo a pedir ayuda, no solo por lo que pasó, sino por las consecuencias que aún estoy enfrentando.

Los fondos recaudados serán utilizados para:

Ponerme al día con deudas urgentes acumuladas durante los meses sin ingresos

Cubrir gastos básicos mientras logro estabilizarme nuevamente

Continuar con mi recuperación física y emocional

Brindarle a mi bebé un entorno seguro, estable y digno

No ha sido fácil llegar hasta aquí, ni pedir ayuda. Pero lo hago por amor a mi hijo, y por la oportunidad de salir adelante después de todo lo vivido.

At the beginning of last year, my life changed completely. I found out I was pregnant, a mix of emotions between happiness, fear, and uncertainty. At the same time, I was starting a new job, hoping to improve my financial situation and move forward, but things did not turn out as I had hoped.

However, shortly after, on July 25th, I became the victim of a violent assault that changed everything. I was intercepted by three motorcycles and suffered four gunshot wounds. By God’s grace, I survived, and my baby kept fighting with me.

This traumatic event deeply affected not only my physical and emotional health, but also my financial stability. Due to the severity of what happened, I was unable to work for approximately six months (from July to December) — first because of my recovery, and then due to maternity leave.

During that time, my income stopped, but my responsibilities did not. Debts, loans, and basic expenses continued to accumulate, leaving me in a very difficult financial situation that I am still trying to recover from today.

I am now a single mother, doing everything I can to move forward and build a stable life for my baby. I have the emotional support of my mom and my sisters, but financially, it has been overwhelming.

Today, with humility, I am asking for help — not only because of what happened, but because of the lasting impact it has had on my life.

The funds raised will be used to:

-Catch up on urgent debts accumulated during the months without income

-Cover basic living expenses while I work toward financial stability

-Continue my physical and emotional recovery

-Provide a safe and stable environment for my baby

It has not been easy to get to this point, and asking for help is not easy either. But I do it out of love for my child and the hope of rebuilding our lives after everything we’ve been through.
