Hello! my name is Valeria Martínez, I’m 29 years old and from Peru. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with stage III triple-negative breast cancer, and I also carry a TP53 genetic mutation, associated with Li-Fraumeni syndrome, which increases the risk of developing new types of cancer over time.

After completing several cycles of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and following surgery, my doctors prescribed eight additional immunotherapy sessions with Pembrolizumab to strengthen my immune system and reduce the chances of the cancer returning.

My insurance covers part of the treatment, but not all of it, and the remaining costs are beyond what I can afford on my own. Today, I am stable, hopeful, and focused on my recovery.

My goal is to complete this treatment so I can return to my career, get back to my daily life, enjoy time with my loved ones, and live with the peace of mind of having done everything possible to protect my health.

This campaign aims to help me cover the remaining cost of my eight Pembrolizumab immunotherapy sessions and the necessary medications to complete the treatment. Any contribution, big or small, will mean one more step toward my recovery.

Hola! Mi nombre es Valeria Martínez, tengo 29 años y soy peruana. A comienzos de este año fui diagnosticada con cáncer de mama en estadio III, tipo triple negativo, y además tengo una mutación genética TP53, asociada al síndrome de Li-Fraumeni, que incrementa el riesgo de desarrollar nuevos tipos de cáncer con el tiempo.

Luego de recibir varios ciclos de quimioterapia e inmunoterapia, y tras la cirugía, mis médicos me indicaron ocho sesiones adicionales de inmunoterapia con Pembrolizumab para fortalecer mi sistema inmunológico y disminuir las probabilidades de que el cáncer regrese.

Mi seguro cubre parte del tratamiento, pero no en su totalidad, y el costo restante supera lo que puedo cubrir por mi cuenta. Hoy me encuentro estable, con esperanza y enfocada en mi recuperación.

Mi meta es completar este tratamiento para volver a trabajar en mi carrera, retomar mi rutina diaria, disfrutar de mis seres queridos y vivir con la tranquilidad de haber hecho todo lo posible por cuidar mi salud.

Esta campaña busca ayudarme a cubrir el costo restante de mis ocho inmunoterapias con Pembrolizumab y los medicamentos necesarios para completar el tratamiento. Cualquier aporte, grande o pequeño, significará un paso más hacia mi recuperación.
