Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo va mi proceso en la lucha contra el cáncer.

Hace un tiempo les hablé sobre el diagnóstico de cáncer de mama en el seno derecho. Gracias a Dios, y al apoyo de muchos de ustedes, pude realizarme los estudios médicos especializados necesarios para que mi oncólogo determinara si la enfermedad se había diseminado a otras partes del cuerpo. Afortunadamente, los resultados fueron relativamente favorables.

Actualmente debo continuar con mi recuperación, y para ello es necesario que me realicen los siguientes procedimientos:

mastectomía parcial + extracción del ganglio centinela + simetrización mamaria.

(Este procedimiento quirúrgico consiste en la extirpación de parte del tejido mamario, incluyendo el tumor; la extracción del ganglio centinela para evaluar si el cáncer se ha diseminado en los ganglios linfáticos cercanos; y la simetrización, que busca mejorar la apariencia de las mamas).

Posteriormente, debo iniciar un tratamiento con quimioterapia, y finalmente, sesiones de radioterapia.

Algunos de estos procedimientos debo realizarlos en el sector privado, ya que en el sistema público los tiempos de espera son extensos debido a la gran cantidad de pacientes. Esta demora representa un riesgo para mi salud, por lo que me veo en la necesidad de solicitar nuevamente su valiosa ayuda.

Les pido, desde el fondo de mi corazón, su colaboración para poder llevar adelante todo este proceso y así tener la oportunidad de recuperar mi salud. Cada oración, cada muestra de apoyo y cada granito de arena cuentan y significan muchísimo para mí.

Tengo muchas ganas de vivir, de seguir compartiendo momentos con mi Mamá, mi esposo, mi hija ,mis nietos y mi Familia.Gracias por estar, por escucharme y por acompañarme en este camino.

Today I want to share with you how my journey in the fight against cancer is going.

Some time ago, I told you about the diagnosis of breast cancer in my right breast. Thanks to God, and to the support of many of you, I was able to undergo the specialized medical tests necessary for my oncologist to determine whether the disease had spread to other parts of my body. Fortunately, the results were relatively favorable.

At this stage, I must continue my recovery, and to do so, I need to undergo the following procedures:

partial mastectomy + sentinel lymph node removal + breast symmetrization.

(This surgical procedure involves removing part of the breast tissue, including the tumor; extracting the sentinel lymph node to evaluate whether the cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes; and breast symmetrization, which aims to improve the appearance of the breasts.)

After surgery, I will begin chemotherapy treatment, followed by radiation therapy sessions.

Some of these procedures must be done through the private healthcare system, as public healthcare wait times are very long due to the high number of patients. This delay poses a risk to my health, which is why I find myself in the position of humbly asking once again for your kind support.

From the bottom of my heart, I ask for your help so I can move forward with this process and have the chance to regain my health. Every prayer, every kind word, and every little bit of help means the world to me.

I have a deep desire to live, to continue sharing moments with my mom, my husband, my daughter, my grandchildren, and my family.
