Queridos amigos, familia y personas de buen corazón:

Nos encontramos viviendo uno de los momentos más difíciles como familia. Nuestro papá, Jesús Castillo Portillo, quien siempre ha sido un hombre generoso y servicial con todos, está actualmente internado en terapia intensiva en estado grave, luchando por su vida tras haber sufrido una embolia pulmonar y tres infartos consecutivos.

Todo comenzó hace unos días, cuando empezó a sentir fuertes dolores e inflamación en las piernas, que lo dejaron sin poder caminar. Aunque consultó a varios médicos, no mejoraba. El lunes pasado, regresó del trabajo en su florería sintiéndose muy débil y con dificultad para respirar. Fue llevado de urgencia al hospital, donde su estado se agravó rápidamente.

Los médicos lograron estabilizarlo, pero descubrieron que tiene múltiples coágulos en las piernas que están viajando hacia su corazón y pulmones, poniendo su vida en peligro constante. Para mantenerlo con vida, está recibiendo un tratamiento de alto costo, y los doctores han determinado que necesita una cirugía de emergencia llamada EKOS, que permite disolver los coágulos directamente en los pulmones.

Esta intervención es su única esperanza de sobrevivir y evitar un daño irreversible.

Lamentablemente, no cuenta con seguro médico, y los gastos de hospitalización, medicamentos y cirugía han superado nuestras posibilidades. Mis hermanos y yo hemos hecho todo lo que está en nuestras manos, pero necesitamos ayuda.

Por eso, acudimos a ustedes con humildad, pidiendo su apoyo económico y sus oraciones. Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que sea, es un rayo de esperanza para nuestra familia.

Please help us save his life

Dear friends, family and kind-hearted people:

We are living one of the most difficult moments as a family. Our dad, Jesús Castillo Portillo, who has always been a generous and helpful man with everyone, is currently hospitalized in intensive care in serious condition, fighting for his life after suffering a pulmonary embolism and three consecutive heart attacks.

It all started a few days ago, when he began to feel severe pain and inflammation in his legs, which left him unable to walk. Although he consulted several doctors, he did not improve. Last Monday, he returned from work at his flower shop feeling very weak and with difficulty breathing. He was rushed to the hospital, where his condition quickly worsened.

Doctors managed to stabilize him, but discovered that he has multiple clots in his legs that are traveling to his heart and lungs, putting his life in constant danger. To keep him alive, he is receiving high-cost treatment, and doctors have determined that he needs an emergency surgery called EKOS, which allows him to dissolve the clots directly in the lungs.

This intervention is his only hope of surviving and avoiding irreversible damage.

Unfortunately, he does not have medical insurance, and the expenses of hospitalization, medication and surgery have exceeded our possibilities. My brothers and I have done everything in our power, but we need help.
