Help for Andrés – Our Story

Hello everyone,

I would like to share what my family is going through during this difficult time. My brother Andrés has been hospitalized at Hospital del Río for the past six days and remains in the ICU.

Everything started very suddenly. He began experiencing severe abdominal pain, along with nausea and vomiting. What initially seemed like something minor quickly turned into a serious condition. After several tests, doctors discovered an intestinal obstruction that required urgent and complex surgery.

Since then, his condition has been delicate, and he remains in intensive care under constant monitoring. These have been incredibly hard and emotional days for our entire family. Seeing him in this situation is very painful, but we continue to hold on to faith and hope for his recovery.

At the same time, the medical expenses have become overwhelming. The cost of ICU care and treatment is far beyond what we can afford.

That is why today I am reaching out for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference for us during this time. All donations will go directly toward Andrés’ medical expenses.

Ayuda para Andrés – Nuestra historia

Hola a todos,

Quiero contarles por lo que está pasando mi familia en este momento. Mi hermano Andrés se encuentra hospitalizado en el Hospital del Río ya 6 días en UCI y actualmente sigue ahí.

Todo empezó de manera muy repentina. Él comenzó con un dolor abdominal muy fuerte, acompañado de náuseas y vómito. Lo que al inicio parecía algo pasajero, se volvió algo mucho más serio. Después de varios exámenes, los médicos detectaron una obstrucción intestinal que requirió una cirugía de urgencia y muy fuerte.

Desde entonces, su estado ha sido delicado y permanece en cuidados intensivos bajo constante monitoreo. Han sido días muy duros y llenos de angustia para todos nosotros. Verlo en esta situación es muy difícil, pero seguimos con mucha fe y esperanza en su recuperación.

Al mismo tiempo, los gastos médicos han sido muy altos. Los costos de la UCI y el tratamiento están superando nuestras posibilidades.

Por eso hoy acudo a ustedes. Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que sea, puede marcar una gran diferencia para nosotros en este momento. Su apoyo será destinado directamente a cubrir los gastos médicos de Andrés.
