Nini & Camila medical costs and rehab

Family and friends,

It's been more than 10 days since the accident where we were transported in helicopter to the hospital and I want to thank you with all my heart for so much love and help. It has been a very hard time for me, but I’m always encouraged and eager to move on after this blessing to continue living. We still think that despite what happened to us both Cami and I, this has been a very fortunate event, we both have been able to heal our fractures and slowly move on. For those who don't know Camila had 5 fractures in her nose, eye, cheek, and left leg. I had 17 fractures in total in my right arm/knee/leg, and my left knee.

We have been through rough days of much pain, but also of much love. Cami has her little face and her eye much better, she already flies on her crutches, there is no more pain and she is again the happy girl that she once was. The cast she has on her leg gives her a lot of tickles and she will start school next week again. I am warrior in life and have gone through multiple surgeries of more than 40 hours in total. Everything has gone very well after anesthesia, there still a lot of pain, but I have all the desire to be back home with my daughter and all my family again. Uncountable hours of surgery and a long therapy and a few more weeks in the hospital, but I always cheer up, joking and working hard on therapies, moving as far as possible and cooperating with the medical team and nurses to take precautions preventive care to avoid any complications by lying on the bed for so long.

Thank you very much for all the unconditional support and for every drop of love whether it was small or big it has filled both of our hearts. Visits to the hospital are greatly appreciated and all the money collected will go towards hospital expenses including the cost of the emergency helicopter ride to the hospital. Once again I want to thank everyone for the love and support for these troubled times.

Familia y amigos, nuestra Nini y Camila tuvieron un accidente automobilistico el sabado en la noche y fueron aerotransportadas al hospital. Gracias a Dios no paso de severas fracturas aunque sigue siendo una situación delicada. La niña tuvo 5 fracturas y esta bajo el cuidado de su tio y poco a poco recuperandose. Nini tuvo 17 fracturas en todo su cuerpo y un milagro que su cabeza no sufriera ni un rasguño, ella en lo que cabe se encuentra bien aunque todo su cuerpo esta inmovilizado excepto su mano izquierda y esta en el proceso de varias cirugias. Va a ser una recuperacion muy larga y dolorosa. Hemos estado informando a familiares y amigos poco a poco ya que el tiempo ahora es en especial para ambas. Si quieren brindar cualquier tipo de ayuda con mucho gusto se pueden poner en contacto con el esposo o hermanos. Se puede visitar en el hospital y darle mucho mas animo del que la caracteriza. A la niña le hace muy feliz ver o hablar con familiares y amigos. Si quieren donar puede ser directo a la familia por la cuestion de los cargos o a traves de este medio.
