Urgent Help for My Uncle in His Final Days

With a heavy heart, I reach out during one of the most painful and challenging times our family has ever faced.

My uncle Carlos, or Pochi as everyone know him, a kind, hardworking, and deeply loved man, is spending his final days in hospice care after being diagnosed with an extremely aggressive cancer. In just a short time, this illness has taken a devastating toll on his body and spirit.

He has always been the backbone of his family: a devoted husband, a loving father, and the main provider. Today, his wife has had to leave her job temporarily to care for him full-time, staying by his side every moment with love and strength, while watching the man she loves slowly slip away.

To make things even more difficult, they are also caring for their youngest son, who is on the autism spectrum and requires constant attention and special care. The emotional and physical toll on the family is overwhelming.

Their financial situation is heartbreaking. They are struggling to cover even the most of the needs, let alone the mounting costs of care, transportation, food, and the end-of-life expenses we now have to painfully start preparing for.

With all the humility and love in our hearts, we ask for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, is a blessing and a light in this dark moment.

Ayuda urgente para mi tío en sus últimos días de vida

Con el corazón en la mano, recurro a ustedes en uno de los momentos más dolorosos y difíciles que hemos vivido como familia.

Mi tío, Carlos, o Pochi, como todos lo conocian, un hombre noble, trabajador y profundamente querido, está enfrentando sus últimos días en un hospicio, luego de ser diagnosticado con un cáncer extremadamente agresivo que, en cuestión de semanas, ha deteriorado su salud de forma devastadora.

Él siempre fue el pilar de su hogar: un esposo amoroso, un padre presente y el principal sostén económico. Hoy, su esposa ha tenido que dejar su trabajo temporalmente para cuidarlo a tiempo completo, acompañándolo día y noche con amor y fortaleza, mientras ve cómo el hombre de su vida se apaga lentamente.

A esta difícil situación se suma otro gran desafío: su hijo menor, que está dentro del espectro autista y necesita atención constante y cuidados especiales. Esto ha hecho que la carga emocional, física y económica sea aún más abrumadora para su esposa y su familia.

La situación financiera es desesperante. Están luchando para cubrir las necesidades del día a día, sin hablar de los costos médicos, traslados, alimentación, y los inevitables gastos funerarios que tristemente debemos empezar a considerar.

Hoy les pedimos ayuda desde lo más profundo del corazón. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, es una bendición y un rayo de luz en medio de tanta oscuridad.
