Ayuda para Marianela Mendoza

Mi amiga Marianela Mendoza de 46 años está ingresada en el Hospital Saint Francis, en Tulsa – Oklahoma, desde el 18 de septiembre de 2023. Fue admitida en la enfermería en estado catatónico, permaneciendo así por 3 días. Le realizaron diversos estudios: scanner cerebral, estudio de líquido espinal, tomografía y resonancia magnética con contraste en el cerebro. Se evidenciaron trombos en ambos hemisferios del cerebro, afectando la región frontal y tálamo.

El 21 de septiembre de 2023 le realizaron un cateterismo con contraste logrando reducir y eliminar los trombos del hemisferio derecho permaneciendo en UCI por 4 días. El 26 de septiembre de 2023 la trasladaron a hospitalización para seguir con medicamentos antitrombóticos y control de los derrames cerebrales.

Actualmente Marianela se encuentra en el Departamento de Terapia y Rehabilitación del Hospital Saint Francis para recuperar fuerza muscular, deglución y el habla.

Se agradece eternamente su ayuda, ya que las terapias de rehabilitación cuestan $12,000 y el costo de hospitalización va por más de $100,000. Por los momentos los familiares de Marianela necesitan $12,000 para cubrir las terapias y acelerar el proceso de su recuperacion.

My friend Marianela Mendoza (46 years old) has been in the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma since September 18, 2023.

She was admitted to the hospital in a catatonic state, remaining so for 3 days. She underwent various studies: brain scan, spinal fluid study, tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging with contrast in the brain. Thrombi were evident in both hemispheres of the brain, affecting the frontal region and thalamus.

Marianela is currently in the Therapy and Rehabilitation Department of Saint Francis Hospital to recover muscle strength, swallowing, and speech.

The rehabilitation therapies cost $12,000 and the hospitalization expenses since Marianela was admitted to the hospital are more than $100,000. At this moment, Marianela's relatives need $12,000 to cover the therapies and speed up her recovery.
