Leticia Zavala, a devoted single mother of 4 was hospitalized Friday, July 17, 2020 she relapsed due to her asthma and required a procedure to reopen her breathing passage way. Her throat was slowly closing up and time was running out to save her life. Finally the doctor gave her the option to have the Tracheostomy procedure done here at Northeast GA Medical Center, this was to make a puncture in her neck that would allow a tube to go down her throat in exchange to receiving air down to her lungs. Unfortunately, this left her unable to communicate verbally and in the future is required to once again go under a procedure to reconstruct her vocals. Funds that are acquired from this fundraiser will be towards her and her family since she is now unable to go back to work. We are asking for your help to help her in these hard times, any donations are valued and received with full gratitude. 

Leticia Zavala, una devota madre soltera de 4 hijos, fue hospitalizada el viernes 17 de julio de 2020, recayó debido a su asma y requirió un procedimiento para reabrir su vía respiratoria. Su garganta se estaba cerrando lentamente y el tiempo se acababa para salvarle la vida. Finalmente, el médico le dio la opción de someterse al procedimiento de traqueotomía aquí en el Northeast GA Medical Center, esto era para hacer una punción en el cuello que permitiría que un tubo bajara por su garganta a cambio de recibir aire hasta los pulmones. Desafortunadamente, esto la dejó incapaz de comunicarse verbalmente y en el futuro debe someterse nuevamente a un procedimiento para reconstruir su voz. Los fondos que se adquieran de esta recaudación de fondos se destinarán a ella y a su familia, ya que ahora no puede volver a trabajar. Estamos pidiendo su ayuda para ayudarla en estos tiempos difíciles, cualquier donación es valorada y recibida con plena gratitud.
