Lenka is a 13-year-old black Scottish Terrier and, without a doubt, she is a dog deeply loved by me. She is a cancer survivor and, although I don’t have children, she is practically my daughter and the driving force in my life. Last year was especially hard, as I lost her companion Scott, also to cancer. Since then, my work has been greatly affected by the country’s economic situation and I haven’t been able to find stable employment. The little money I’ve managed to earn has gone to rent, bills, and food, and my savings are nearly depleted.

Six months ago, Lenka started having bad breath. When I sought help, I was advised to get a deep dental cleaning under anesthesia and possible extractions, since she has two front teeth and a molar that are compromised. I’ve consulted several veterinarians and most charge more than I can cover with my savings. That’s why I’m asking for support to provide Lenka with the treatment she needs, and I will try to cover the rest with what little I have saved.

Lenka is my family and my greatest joy. Any help, no matter how small, will be a huge support for her to regain her health and well-being. I sincerely thank those who can collaborate and share our story. Your generosity can restore health and happiness to my beloved dog.

Lenka es una Scottish Terrier negra de 13 años y es, sin duda, una perra sumamente amada por mí. Es una sobreviviente de cáncer y, aunque no tengo hijos, ella es prácticamente mi hija y mi motor en la vida. El año pasado fue especialmente duro, ya que perdí a su compañero Scott, también por cáncer. Desde entonces, mi trabajo se ha visto muy afectado por la situación económica del país y no he logrado conseguir un empleo estable. Hace seis meses, Lenka comenzó a tener mal aliento.
