Hola a todos Amigos, Familiares y Fundaciones mi nombre es Luis Alexander Caraballo , esta campaña de ayuda es para mi tío Fernando Caraballo, mi tío es un hombre joven de 46 años, familiar y muy trabajador, vive en Venezuela y como muchos sabemos los recursos en nuestro país son muy bajos; Lamentablemente ha sido diagnosticado con un Sarcoma que es un tipo de cáncer poco común que se origina en los tejidos conectivos del cuerpo (grasa, vasos sanguíneos, nervios, etc.) y se clasifica principalmente en sarcomas de tejidos blandos, manifestándose en mi tío específicamente en sus pulmones, puede surgir en cualquier parte, requiriendo un diagnóstico especializado y tratamiento con cirugía, radiación o quimioterapia para extirpar todas las células cancerígenas. Hace 2 años (2023) le realizaron una cirugía para extirpar el primer sarcoma en su pulmón derecho, fue sometido a radioterapia y luego a quimioterapia arrojando unos resultados efectivos con una reducción en progreso, lamentablemente se continuo con una quimioterapia oral la cual no mejoro su condición y el Sarcoma creció y afecto el otro pulmón. En noviembre 2025 volvió a recaer y los médicos dieron un informe que anexamos y aquí resumimos lo que necesita para continuar con los tratamientos de quimioterapia.

El tratamiento incluye:

- 6 sesiones de quimioterapia

-Cada sesión requiere de 3 ampollas de Yondelis (Trabectidina) de 100 miligramos cada 21 días y necesita 18 ampollas del medicamento que tiene un costo de aproximadamente $1700 cada una.

Con la ayuda de amigos y familiares hemos conseguido 6 ampollas equivalente a $10,200 y estarían faltando 12 ampollas con un costo de $20,400 en total.

Estamos pidiendo de su ayuda y colaboración para poder pagar el tratamiento, su ayuda monetaria es muy importante, pero más importante son sus oraciones para salvar la vida de mi tío Fernando. Hello friends and family my name is Luis Alexander Caraballo, this campaign is to help my uncle Fernando Caraballo. My uncle is a young 46-year-old man, he’s family oriented and a very hardworking person. He lives in Venezuela and as many of us know, the resources in our country are very limited. Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with a Sarcoma, which is a rare type of cancer that originates in the body’s connective tissues (fat, blood vessels, nerves, etc.). It is mainly classified as soft tissue sarcoma. In my uncle’s case, it has specifically affected his lungs. Sarcoma can appear in any part of the body, and it requires a specialized diagnosis and treatment including surgery, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy to eliminate all the cancerous cells.

Two years ago (2023), he underwent surgery to remove his first sarcoma from his right lung. He then received radiation therapy and then followed chemotherapy, which initially showed positive and effective results with a progressive reduction in size. Unfortunately, he continued with oral chemotherapy, and it did not improve his condition and allowed his sarcoma to grow and start affecting his other lung.

In November 2025, the cancer returned, and the doctors issued a medical report (attached), which we summarize here to help explain what he needs to continue his chemotherapy treatments.

The treatment includes:

-6 chemotherapy sessions

-Each session requires 3 vials of Yondelis (Trabectedin) of 100mg every 21 days, a total of 18 vials are needed and each vial has a cost of $1700.

With the help of friends and family we’ve been able to find 6 vials with a cost of $10,400 and we’re still searching for the remaining 12 vials with a total cost of $20,400.
