Hola, mi nombre es Miren Leire y quiero, en nombre de mis hermanos y el mío, contarles sobre nuestra madre, Miren Maite Gurtubay.

Mi mamá ha enfrentado con valentía el Mieloma Múltiple y ha pasado por varios tratamientos desde el año pasado (2024) después de su diagnóstico. Recientemente, a causa del debilitamiento de sus huesos, sufrió fracturas en la cadera y, más recientemente, en el esternón. Esta última le ha impedido caminar y le ha provocado dificultades para respirar y tragar. Por ello, necesita una nueva operación, además de terapias y tratamientos, para recuperar su fuerza y aliviar el dolor que está sufriendo.

Como familia, queremos hacer todo lo posible para que reciba la mejor atención y cuidados, y por eso acudimos a la ayuda de quienes puedan y quieran apoyarnos. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, significa mucho y nos acerca un paso más a que nuestra madre vuelva a sentirse bien.

Help Our Mom Regain Her Strength

Hello, my name is Miren Leire and, on behalf of my siblings and myself, I want to tell you about our mom, Miren Maite Gurtubay.

My mom has bravely faced Multiple Myeloma and has undergone several treatments since last year (2024) after her diagnosis. Recently, due to the weakening of her bones, she suffered fractures in her hip and, more recently, in her sternum. This last fracture has prevented her from walking and has caused difficulties with breathing and swallowing. Because of this, she now needs another surgery, along with therapies and treatments, to regain her strength and relieve the pain she is suffering.

As a family, we want to do everything possible to ensure she receives the best care and attention, which is why we are reaching out for the help of those who can and wish to support us. Every donation, no matter how small, means so much and brings us one step closer to helping our mom feel well again.
