Nathan Andres Guzman, the son of Jesus and Samira, passed away on March 11 after a difficult battle with a rare disease called atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome.

Everything began in December 2025, when Nathan was just six months old. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, where he underwent surgery and intensive treatments such as dialysis and hemodialysis. Nathan remained hospitalized until late February 2026, facing a rare diagnosis and a treatment that, in addition to being extremely costly, required constant and specialized care.

During these months, Jesus and Samira devoted all their time and love to caring for Nathan, stepping away from work to be by his side in the hospital. Although Nathan showed improvement and his condition went into remission, the family remained on high alert for any symptoms.

Tragically, on March 11, Nathan began vomiting and was rushed back to the emergency room, where his condition worsened. Just hours later, he passed away, leaving an immeasurable void in the hearts of his parents and loved ones.

Now, Jesus and Samira are facing not only the immense pain of their loss, but also the burden of medical debt and the financial strain from months without being able to work. The funds raised will go toward covering these expenses and helping them navigate this incredibly difficult time.
