Ayuda para Javier Santiago Vazquez en crisis medica

Mi nombre es Javier Santiago Vazquez.

Durante mi vida me ha tocado vivir muchas experiencias extraordinarias. He vivido mucho y muy feliz. He sufrido de varios episodios en los que mi salud no me ha acompañado, pero todos los he superado y he podido llevar una vida relativamente normal. Pero en estos últimos dos años, mi salud no ha sido buena. Ahora estoy enfrentando otro reto más del que espero salir también victorioso.

A la vez que experimento la dolorosa pérdida de mi madre, he recibido un diagnóstico médico que nos ha tomado por sorpresa y nos deja con sensación de vértigo. Padezco de Enfermedad Renal Crónica Avanzada. Como consecuencia de esta enfermedad voy a estar sometido a diálisis peritoneal diaria. Es una situación que nos afecta en todos los sentidos. Desde físico hasta económico. La próxima opción de vida es someterme a un trasplante de riñón. Afortunadamente, sin pedirlo, he sido bendecido con una hermana que voluntariamente ha decidido ser mi donante.

Este procedimiento sería realizado en Madrid, España, que es donde resido desde hace varios años. Esto conlleva muchos sacrificios y unos requerimientos económicos que no podemos costearnos. Es por esta razón que me veo obligado a tener que recurrir a buscar ayuda y apoyo mediante un go fund me. Esto nos ayudaría enormemente a poder realizar este procedimiento que cambiaría mi vida y me permitiría seguir en salud.

Aunque somos una familia de clase trabajadora, personalmente mi situación económica no es la mejor y los costes de mi tratamiento y posible cirugía de trasplante. Por lo tanto, me veo obligado a crear esta campaña y humildemente ponerme en manos de la generosidad de familia, amigos y conocidos.

Las visitas médicas y el respectivo traslado diario al hospital, además del costo de medicamentos son de un costo elevado. Además, he tenido que realizar cambios en mi residencia para poder acomodar todo mi equipo médico. También le tenemos que añadir el costo del traslado y estadía de Puerto Rico a España de mi donante durante las semanas que se prolongue este procedimiento médico y recuperación. Esto añade un peso adicional a mi situación de salud que me genera mucha ansiedad y miedo de no poder conseguir mi objetivo de ser trasplantado y poder seguir viviendo en salud.

Con toda mi fe, humildad y respeto, les exhorto a ayudarme y acompañarme en este viaje que nunca pensé me tocaría emprender. Agradezco toda ayuda.

During my life I have had to live many extraordinary experiences. I have lived a long time and very happy. But in the last two years, my health has not been good. Now I am facing another challenge that I hope to be also victorious.

At the same time that I experience the painful loss of my mother, I have received a medical diagnosis that has taken us by surprise and leaves us with a feeling of vertigo. I suffer from Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease. As a result of this disease, I will undergo daily peritoneal dialysis. It is a situation that affects us in every way. From physical to economic. The next life option is to have a kidney transplant. Fortunately, without asking, I have been blessed with a sister who has voluntarily decided to be my donor.

This procedure would be carried out in Madrid, Spain, which is where I have lived for several years. This entails many sacrifices and economic requirements that we can't afford. It is for this reason that I am forced to have to resort to seeking help and support through a go fund. This would help us enormously to be able to perform this procedure that would change my life and allow me to stay healthy.

Although we are a working-class family, personally my economic situation is not the best and the costs of my treatment and possible transplant surgery. Therefore, I am forced to create this campaign and humbly put myself in the hands of the generosity of family, friends and acquaintances.

Medical visits and the respective daily transfer to the hospital, in addition to the cost of medications, are at a high cost. In addition, I have had to make changes in my residence to be able to accommodate all my medical equipment. We also have to add the cost of my donor's transfer and stay from Puerto Rico to Spain during the weeks that this medical procedure and recovery is prolonged. This adds an additional weight to my health situation that generates a lot of anxiety and fear of not being able to achieve my goal of being transplanted and being able to continue living in health.

With all my faith, humility and respect, I urge you to help me and accompany me on this trip that I never thought I would have to undertake. I appreciate all the help.
