This is Guillermo, he is a good man, an amazing dad, a great brother, and a loving husband.

He has shown love and care to all in need through countless actions throughout his live. He has volunteered at different NGO's to teach others, donated time and resources at local charities, and he actively supports several efforts to help migrants in our country. Everyone in our neighborhood knows he is the kind of person who is willing to help you no matter what you need.

Our Christmas has not been the same this year, he tested positive for COVID. This Christmas Eve his doctors recommended hospitalization and later on, intubation to protect his lungs. He is now in the Intensive Care Unit fighting to overcome the pneumonia the virus has caused. 

The medical staff taking care of him is just amazing, they are making their best to help him overcome the virus. However, his medical expenses are high and we need help to cover them so he can continue to recover.

Él es Guillermo, mi papá. nuestra navidad no ha sido la misma, ya que él se contagió de COVID. 

Mi papá es un hombre bueno en todo el sentido de la palabra. Es amoroso con su familia y amigos. Los que lo conocen saben que siempre ofrece su ayuda y una palabra de aliento a quien lo necesita. Siempre ha demostrado cariño activamente a quien lo necesite dando clases a otros adultos en ONGs, dona tiempo y recursos en fundaciones e iglesias de la ciudad y apoya las iniciativas que permiten ayudar a los migrantes en nuestro país.

Esta nochebuena sus doctores determinaron que debían intubarlo. ahora está en terapia intensiva recibiendo tratamiento para luchar contra el virus y recuperarse pronto de la neumonía que el COVID ha ocasionado.

Él está siendo atendido por un equipo de médicos que trabajan incansablemente por su mejoría y la de muchos pacientes más. Los gastos de su cuidado son bastante elevados por lo que necesitamos de su ayuda para cubrir su hospitalización.
