En enero de 2025, nuestro querido padre, Raúl, sufrió un infarto que le provocó un paro cardíaco. Aunque fue reanimado, la falta de oxígeno le provocó una lesión cerebral. Si bien las imágenes cerebrales no mostraron daños importantes, los neurólogos explicaron que solo el tiempo revelaría el alcance total de su recuperación.

Durante los últimos siete meses, Raúl luchó con una fuerza increíble. Tuvo días de esperanza, mostrando signos de alerta y pequeños movimientos, pero también enfrentó serios reveses, incluyendo un reingreso hospitalario. A pesar de la batalla, Dios tenía otros planes para él y ya no esta con nosotros.

Raúl fue un esposo amoroso para Brenda y un padre orgulloso para Norelia, Jessica y Alberto. Recientemente jubilado y trabajador incansable de toda la vida, Raúl era el tipo de persona que siempre ha estado ahí para todos, siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás sin dudarlo. Disfruta de los paseos, las vacaciones en la playa y la montaña, y sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su familia. Era conocido por su humor, amabilidad y corazón bondadoso.

In January 2025, our beloved father, Raul, suffered a heart attack that led to cardiac arrest. Although he was revived, the lack of oxygen caused a brain injury. While his brain imaging showed no major damage, neurologists explained that only time would reveal the full extent of his recovery.

For the past seven months, Raul fought with incredible strength. He’s had hopeful days—showing signs of alertness and small movements—but also faced serious setbacks, including a hospital readmission. Despite the battle, God had other plans for him and he no longer with us.

Raul was a loving husband to Brenda, and a proud father to Norelia, Jessica, and Alberto. A recent retiree and a lifelong hard worker, Raul was the kind of person who’s always been there for everyone—always willing to help others without hesitation. He enjoys walks, vacations to the beach and mountains, and most of all, spending time with his family. He was known for his humor, kindness, and caring heart.

Despite having both Medicare and private insurance, many of Raul’s medical claims have been denied, including hospital stays, rehab care, and ambulance transportation. The out-of-pocket costs have become overwhelming, and we are humbly asking for your help.
