Hola soy Liris, y en nuestra familia el 25 de febrero 2025, tuvimos una noticia muy difícil, mi papa Douglas Smith, en Venezuela, Punto Fijo - Edo Falcon. Sufrió un ACV Isquémico, que le produjo Hemiplejía del Hemisferio Derecho (parálisis del cuerpo), afasia motora (trastorno lenguaje afectando la capacidad de hablar) y presión arterial alta.

Como familia nos hemos unido y costeado los estudios requeridos para su diagnostico, exámenes especiales, medicinas, pero las recomendaciones medicas para su recuperación incluye terapias de lenguaje, terapias físicas, aunado a la necesidad de el uso diario de panales, material descartables para su aseo personal. Esto ha generado unos gastos excesivos los cuales no hemos podido cubrir en su totalidad. Es por ello que acudimos a esta plataforma, para obtener su ayuda y así poder cubrir con lo que el necesita para su recuperación

Hello, I'm Liris, and on February 25, 2025, our family received very difficult news. My father, Douglas Smith, was born in Venezuela, Punto Fijo, Falcon State. He suffered an ischemic stroke, which caused right hemisphere hemiplegia (body paralysis), motor aphasia (a language disorder affecting the ability to speak), and high blood pressure.

As a family, we have come together and paid for the studies required for his diagnosis, special tests, and medications. However, the medical recommendations for his recovery include speech therapy, physical therapy, and the need for daily diaper use and disposable personal hygiene supplies. This has generated excessive expenses that we have not been able to fully cover.
