Ayuda Para El Cuidado de Alfredo Ballesteros

Familia y amigos,

Durante el fin de semana, a mi papá le diagnosticaron un cáncer en el cerebro que esta creciendo muy rápidamente. Tiene dos tumores, uno en cada lado del cerebro, que lamentablemente no se pueden remover exitosamente.

Los tumores han estado allí durante mucho tiempo, pero no se diagnosticaron porque mi papá estaba funcionando como un adulto normal, un milagro en sí mismo considerando el tamaño de los tumores.

Durante la semana, la capacidad mental de mi papi disminuyó, pero luego mejoró gracias a otro milagro de Dios. Hoy, el está bebiendo, comiendo, durmiendo y hablando normalmente de nuevo, y estamos orando para que Dios continúe el milagro que es su vida hoy.

Sin embargo, ahora está bajo cuidado hospice y mi mami, mis hermanos y yo tenemos que supervisarlo y cuidarlo las 24 horas del día, especialmente mi mamá, ya que su voz lo ha ayudado a ganar fuerza más que nada.

Estamos pidiendo ayuda con sus costos médicas y los costos del hogar de mi mamá, ya que ella tiene que faltar al trabajo para ayudar a cuidar a mi papi. Todo su ayuda se les agradece muchísimo.

Mi papi siempre ha sido un papá que provee por su familia, sus amigos, y familiares, nos ha dado un amor y paciencia que es muy difícil encontrar en cualquier otra persona. Por años sirvió en la iglesia adorando a Dios en canto y alabanza, así que creemos que El hará un milagro en su vida.

Friends and family,

Over the weekend, my dad was diagnosed with cancer in his brain that is moving very rapidly. He has two tumors, one on each side of his brain that unfortunately cannot be removed successfully.

The tumors have been there for a while now, but went by undiagnosed because dad was a full-functioning adult, a miracle in itself considering the size of the tumors.

Over the week, dad’s mental ability declined, then turned for the better by another miracle of God. Today, dad is drinking, eating, sleeping, and talking like normal again, and we are praying for God to continue the miracle that is his life today.

However, he is now under hospice care and my mom, siblings, and I are having to supervise and care for him 24/7, especially mom as her voice has helped him gain strength more than anything.

We are asking for help with his medical bills and my mom’s home bills as she is having to take off work to help care for my dad. Anything and everything helps, as is so very much appreciated.

My dad has always been a father who provides for his family, his friends, and relatives. He has shown us an immense amount of love and patience that is rare and so, so special. For years he served in the church worshiping God in song and praise, so we believe that He will do a miracle in his life.
