Hola, mi nombre es Mónica Hernández, y estoy recaudando fondos para ayudar a mi mamá, Lidice Fermin de Hernández con la compra de una Válvula Transcateter MYVAL, Merillife, cuyo proveedor es SC MEDICAL y su costo asciende a los 30.000 usd. Mi mami fue diagnosticada hace 5 años con una estenosis aortica la cual en estos años ha pasado de leve a severa, esta condición ocasiona que mi mamá presente:
• Disnea progresiva,
• Palpitaciones severas,
• Bajadas y subidas de tensión,
• Presíncope (sensación inminente y transitoria de pérdida de conciencia), lo cual deriva en un alto riesgo de muerte súbita.
Es por lo comentado anteriormente, que necesita con carácter de urgencia ser operada para resolver su patología aortica, mi mamá tiene 76 años, muchas ganas de vivir y superar esta condición que la aqueja. Los que la conocen, saben de su fortaleza, sus ganas de seguir adelante y su confianza en Dios a través de sus luchas médicas, para aquellos que no la conocen, mi mamá es una mujer bondadosa y sueña con más tiempo para poder compartir con sus nietos y familia.
Debido a la edad de mi mami y sus características clínicas necesita ser operada siguiendo el protocolo TAVI (implantación de válvula aortica transcatéter), ya que, es una paciente con síntomas graves y por lo tanto muy riesgosa para cirugía de reemplazo valvular aórtico.
Debido a las condiciones de mi país Venezuela, mi mamá no cuenta con un seguro que la ayude a costear este costo ni el de la operación, por lo cual, solicitamos de su ayuda y colaboración para que mi mamá puede tener la oportunidad de operarse y continuar con su vida normal. Cualquier aporte será bien recibido y espero que Dios sea multiplicando su ayuda y cariño.
Con mi ejemplo les he mostrado que es preciso trabajar duro para ayudar a los necesitados, recordando las palabras del Señor Jesús: “Hay más dicha en dar que en recibir” –Hechos 20:35.

Hello, my name is Monica Hernandez and I'm collecting money so my mom, Lidice Fermin de Hernández, can afford a Meril's MyVal Transcatheter Aortic Valve from SC MEDICAL. This valve costs $30,000 USD.
My mom was diagnosed 5 years ago with aortic stenosis, and it is now severe. Her symptoms include:
• Dyspnea/Shortness of breath,
• Rapid fluttering heartbeat,
• Fluctuations in blood pressure,
• Syncope (brief reversible loss of consciousness),
All of this results in a high risk for sudden death. This is why she needs to get this valve URGENTLY.
My mom is 76 years old with a lot of hope and willpower to get through this condition. Those who have met her know that she's strong, always wants to keep going and has been through all her other medical conditions because of her faith in God. For those of you who don't know her, she's a very generous woman, and her dream is to be able to spend more time with her grandkids and her family.
Due to her age, severe symptoms, and medical history, she needs to get a surgery called TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation) because the other option called TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) is too risky for her.
She lives in Venezuela, where the situation is not easy at all to being with, and she doesn't have health insurance that could help her afford neither the valve nor the surgery itself. That's why we are asking for your generous help and collaboration - please help us help my mom so she can get the surgery and continue with her life! Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
