Hi! We are Jackelyn and Jessica Revesz. We are raising money for our mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago.
These past two years have been very difficult for her and her
family. She had surgery to remove the tumor. She participated in a clinical trial and the treatment was unsuccessful; that meant going with chemotherapy and radiation.
The doctors then did a body scan and discovered the cancer had metastasized and was now in her lungs. She had a gamma knife procedure done on her lungs to remove as much of the cancer as
possible, yet some of it remained. After a second body scan, they discovered the cancer had moved also to her brain and is now affecting her motor skills and mobility. She is now bedridden and needs 24
hour care.
We are asking for help to pay for a full time nurse, medical supplies, medical bills and possibly a nursing home. We are currently looking for a nursing home, although that is not what she needs, it seems to be our only alternative at the moment. We would much rather keep her at home with her family where she can be visited by her children and grandchildren (they would not be allowed to visit in the nursing home).
