Les escribimos esta carta en desesperación y en búsqueda de apoyo para nuestro papá. Nunca pensamos que tendríamos que pedir ayuda de esta manera pero nuestro papá Arnaldo Arnal V. está luchando por su vida.

Arnaldo fue diagnosticado de un cáncer en Mayo, lo operaron en Margarita para tratar de sacar el tumor; sin embargo su recuperación se ha visto complicada. En el proceso de estabilizarlo lo suficiente como para viajar a Caracas para comenzar la quimioterapia, la bacteria comenzó a afectarlo gravemente. Después de algunas semanas de hospitalización, lograron estabilizarlo y trasladarlo a Caracas para comenzar la terapia. Desafortunadamente, las cosas empeoraron, la bacteria se expandió y no está permitiendo que la quimio y la radioterapia tengan efecto sobre el cáncer. Necesita permanecer hospitalizado por otras 2 semanas mientras recibe tratamiento para la bacteria, pero cada día cuesta más de $1500 y su seguro dejó de cubrirlo hace más de un mes.

No contamos con el dinero necesario para cubrir sus gastos médicos actuales y futuros y, por lo tanto, estamos pidiendo ayuda para continuar los tratamientos que van a permitir a salvar su vida. El tiempo no está de nuestro lado, así que esperamos tener el dinero lo antes posible.

Dear friends and family:

I am writing this letter to you in absolute desperation for support. I never thought I would have to ask for help this way, but our dad Arnaldo Arnal is battling for his life.

My dad has been battling cancer since May, he went through surgery in Margarita to try to take the tumor out but found more bad news. In the process of getting him stable enough to travel to Caracas to start quimio therapy, a bacteria started to affect him heavily. After a few weeks in the hospital, they were able to stabilize him and flew him to Caracas to start therapy. Unfortunately, things got worse; the bacteria expanded and is not permitting the quimio and radiotherapy to do any effects on the cancer. He needs to stay hospitalized for another two weeks while going through treatment for the bacteria, but every day costs over $1500, and his insurance stopped covering him a few weeks ago.

We are not able to raise all the money to meet his current and future medical expenses, and therefore we are asking for your help to save his life. Time is not on our side, so we are hoping to have the money as soon as possible.
