Since that day, she has remained in a coma, bravely fighting to wake up. Current Status
After two months in intensive care and various surgical procedures (including a life-saving craniotomy), Andrea remains stable but in critical condition. While she has shown signs of resilience, the road to her recovery is uncertain and extremely costly.

An Update on Andrea’s Journey
It has been three months since the accident. Andrea remains stable, and while her recovery is a slow process, she continues to fight bravely to wake up. In the midst of this difficult wait, we have a blessing that gives us immense strength: Andrea is pregnant, and the baby is growing healthy. She is fighting not only for her own life but for the future of her 9-year-old son and the baby on the way.
The Current Challenge
The road ahead remains uncertain, and the expenses are constant. Currently:
• Care Logistics : Her mother and young son must travel 4 hours round-trip every day by highway to visit, care for, and stay by her side at the hospital.
• New Stage of Care: We are currently evaluating her transfer to a 24/7 specialized care facility, which presents new logistical and financial hurdles.
• Family Support: As a single mother and the sole provider, Andrea’s absence has left her family relying entirely on the solidarity of others for basic needs and food.

Tras dos meses de cuidados intensivos y diferentes procedimientos quirúrgicos (incluyendo una craneotomía para salvar su vida), Andrea se encuentra estable dentro de su gravedad. Aunque ha mostrado señales de resistencia, el camino hacia su recuperación es incierto y extremadamente costoso.

Han pasado ya tres meses desde el accidente. Andrea se mantiene estable, y aunque su proceso de recuperación es lento, ella sigue luchando valientemente por despertar. En medio de esta difícil espera, tenemos una bendición que nos llena de fuerza: Andrea está embarazada y el bebé sigue creciendo sano. Ella lucha no solo por su vida, sino por el futuro de su hijo de 9 años y del bebé que viene en camino.
El desafío actual
El camino sigue siendo incierto y los gastos no se detienen. Actualmente:
• Logística de cuidado: Su madre y su hijo pequeño deben viajar diariamente 2 horas por carretera para visitarla, cuidarla y estar a su lado en el hospital.
•Nueva etapa de cuidados: Estamos evaluando su traslado a un centro de cuidados especializados 24/7, lo que implica nuevos retos logísticos y financieros.
• Sustento familiar: Andrea era el principal sostén de su hogar; ahora su familia depende enteramente de la solidaridad para cubrir alimentación y necesidades básicas.
