Hola en nombre de Los papas d Amelia Manrique, hago este método para poder ayudar a Amelia todos juntos.

Primero quisiera compartirles un poco de la historia de Amelia , ella nació en Colombia el 23 de noviembre de el 2018. Su lugar de residencia es en Colombia , Amelia nació a sus 26 semanas de gestación y estuvo hospitalizada por un periodo de 6 meses en la UCI Pediatrica , debido a su prematurez realizaron 7 intervenciones quirurgicas las cuales fueron laparotomia para extracción de catéter umbilical, gastrostomia.corrección ano rectal , colostomia, laparotomía por volvimos y bridas, avanza miento mandibular, traqueostomia. Durante estos últimos 4 anos y 11 meses le han realizado todo el soporte terapéutico, durante este periodo su tratamiento ha sido interrumpido por más intervenciones quirúrgicas las cuales serían un total de 13 cirugías que Amelia en su corta edad ha te ido que pasar y con toda la fuerza de el mundo sigue luchando para estar cada día mejor. Amelia es una niña muy positiva, muy cariñosa, le encanta bailar, y a pesar de todas sus condiciones médicas es una niña muy feliz.

A sus padres les ha llegado una nueva luz en sus vidas y es una fundación que ayudaría mucho a Amelia a seguir todo su proceso y a llevar una alimentación de acuerdo asu estado ya que Amelia ha sido dependiente de sonda de alimentación desde que nació hasta ahora. Esta organización llamada notube puede ayudarnos con terapias y un seguimiento de alimentación para Amelia para así ella pueda alcanzar un peso normal para su edad y tenga la fuerza y esperanza de continuar llevando una vida normal para un niño de su edad . Esta fundación está localizada en Graz Austria, lo cual no contamos con todo el apoyo económico para poder sostener todos los gastos de este viaje y de todos los gastos médicos para poder ayudar a Amelia , por este motivo hemos decidido crear esta pagina para poder ayudar a que Amelia pueda seguir luchando y continuar con su apoyo médico, cualquier donación que puedas ayudar sería una bendición para Amelia y su familia. I would like to share a little bit about Amelia’s life , she was born in Colombia on November 23,2018 , where that is her place of residence. Amelia was born premature at 26 weeks of gestation , because of Amelia been a premature baby she had to go through a few surgeries. Therefore for the past 4 years and 11 months with all the help of the medical staff and therapeutic assistance that they have been provided , Amelia has been trying her best to continue fighting for having a better quality of life , however a lot of the therapies and stuff have been interrupted for more surgical interventions that Amelia has been in need for , this will make a total of 13 surgeries that Amelia has had in her short life .

her parents received a hope in their child’s life by a foundation that helps kids with disabilities and help them with a better care , providing them more therapies and most important providing Amelia with teaching her how to eat by mouth since she has had a tube feed since the day she was born , this would be a big step in her life . Recently Amelia had her tracheostomy closed as well as her Peg tube which this will give them a hope for Amelia to start having a normal life for a kid her age. Because of all these reasons I have decided to make this page to try to help her parents receive some financial help so they can travel with Amelia and give her all the care she needs to get better , as a parent myself we do anything that is in our power to provide a better life for our children and this is what Amelia’s parents have done for the past few years.
