Ayuda humanitaria para Rubén Chávez,

Mi nombre Marta y mi marido Ruben acaba de pasar por una situación muy peligrosa y conmovedora a la vez. Mi Rubén le dio 4 infartos, y una trombosis y tuvimos que correr con él para el hospital de Mount Sinaí en Enero 19, 2025. Los médicos y staff del hospital y yo juntos estuvimos sorprendidos como Rubén pudo aguantar todos estos infartos ya que Ruben tiene 59 años de edad y es diabético. Su doctor sorprendido le comentaba conmovidamente “Señor usted tiene 7 vidas!! ... “Y es un milagro de Dios lo que te ha pasado!”

Estuvimos un mes y una semana batallando su condición medica, y gracias a su fuerte cuerpo y a Dios, mi Rubén pudo sobrepasar esta crisis y se encuentra bien ya en casa.

Yo nunca me separe de él, venia de noche hacerle comida (establecida la dieta por el medico), dormía un rato en casa, y en la mañana temprano me llevaban (mis vecinos) para el hospital a estar a su lado.

Como se pueden imaginar, no hemos trabajado por todo este tiempo, y todos nuestros ahorros se nos han agotado. Yo he podido mantener algunas horas de trabajo pero no nos alcanza para pagar el atraso económico que se nos vino encima ya que Rubén no tiene seguro médico y no va a poder regresar a trabajar y necesitamos dinero para comprar sus medicinas y sus terapias.

Les pido con mucho cariño y respecto que nos entiendan y que cualquier donación será recibida con mucho amor y les estaremos agradecido por este gesto humanitario.

Humanitarian aid for Rubén Chávez,

My name is Marta and my husband Ruben has just gone through a very dangerous and moving situation at the same time. My Rubén suffered 4 heart attacks, and a thrombosis and we had to rush to the Mount Sinai hospital on January 19, 2025. The doctors and staff of the hospital and I together were surprised how Rubén was able to endure all these heart attacks since Ruben is 59 years old and is diabetic. His surprised doctor commented movingly to him, “Sir, you have 7 lives!! ... “And what happened to you is a miracle from God!”

We spent a month and a week battling his medical condition, and thanks to his strong body and God, my Rubén was able to overcome this crisis and is now well at home.

I was never separated from him, I came at night to make him food (the diet was established by the doctor), I slept for a while at home, and early in the morning my neighbors taking turns drove me to the hospital to be by his side.

As you can imagine, we haven't worked for all this time, and all our savings have been exhausted. I have been able to maintain some hours of work but it is not enough for us to pay the financial delay that has fallen upon us since Rubén does not have health insurance and will not be able to return to work and we need money to buy his medicines and therapies.

I ask you with great affection and respect that you understand us and that any donation will be received with much love and we will be grateful for this humanitarian gesture.
