Me llamo Javier. Hace un mes y medio me diagnosticaron cáncer de páncreas con metástasis pulmonares irresecable (inoperable). Empecé con un dolor de estómago que fue empeorando. Fui al médico en varias ocasiones. Primero me dieron pastillas para la acidez, después para el dolor de estómago....Sólo tras varias visitas, en urgencias conseguí que me hicieran las pruebas adecuadas. Pero ya no había nada que pudieran hacer para revertir el pronóstico. En sólo cuatro meses me encontré en una situación irreversible. Hoy estoy ya en la última fase -estadio IV, terminal- intentando alargar al máximo el tiempo que me quede. He decido que me realicen las pruebas necesarias para que este cáncer pueda ser estudiado y permita en un futuro, a quienes lo padezcan, se lo detecten antes y no sufran tantísimo dolor. Ojalá que algún día, con las investigaciones que se hagan, nadie tenga que pasar por esto y consigan ofrecer alguna cura.

La ayuda que necesito es para poder cubrir lo que preciso en cuanto a cuidados paliativos de medicación, tratamientos diversos o pruebas en este último momento. A todos, gracias por el tiempo dedicado y la ayuda. Gracias de todo corazón

First they gave me pills for heartburn, then for my stomach... Only after several visits did I get the appropriate tests done in the emergency room. But there was nothing more to do. Today I'm in the last phase - stage IV - trying to extend the time I have left as much as possible. I have decided to have the necessary tests performed so that this cancer can be studied and in the future allow those who suffer from it to be detected earlier and not suffer so much pain. I hope that one day, with the research that is done, no one will have to go through this.
