Albariza es un Centro Cultural y Residencia estudiantil, que proporciona a universitarias de todo el país los medios para adquirir una buena preparación humana, profesional y cultural, que les permita asumir con responsabilidad los retos socioculturales de nuestro tiempo.
     Comenzó en 1.963 en Maracaibo, y desde entonces han pasado por aquí más de 1.000 universitarias procedentes de toda Venezuela.
     Debido a la grave crisis que enfrentamos todos los venezolanos y de modo particular en ésta ciudad; cada día resulta más difícil mantener este proyecto que ademas de llevar a cabo labores de ayuda social, quiere seguir siendo un aporte a la educación de la mujer venezolana: ofrecer los servicios básicos de agua, luz, como mantener nuestras instalaciones, poder ayudar a todos nuestros empleados y hoy por hoy incluso a algunas de nuestras residentes, es un reto que necesita el apoyo de muchas personas. Por otro lado, me presento: soy Esther Bin, Venezolana, exresidente del año 1989 al 1993, soy asidua asistente y colaboradora en busca de ayudas para diversas obras beneficas; junto con mi esposo Ricardo Ormo.

Albariza is a Cultural Center and Student Residence, which provides university students from all over the country with the means to acquire a good human, professional and cultural preparation that allows them to responsibly assume the sociocultural challenges of our time. Since 1963 Albariza has been a home to more than 1,000 young university students from all over Venezuela who have been encouraged to seek excellence in their work in order to better serve society Due to the serious crisis we are facing in Venezuela -and especially in this city of Maracaibo - it has become increasingly difficult to keep this Project going.
