Ayuda a Marcela: Una madre inmigrante que lucha por salir adelante

Hola, mi nombre es Victoria. Quienes me conocen saben que dedico mi vida a este tipo de causas.

Hoy estoy organizando esta campaña para apoyar a Marcela, una joven inmigrante que necesita de nuestra solidaridad.

Marcela es originaria de Barranquilla, Colombia, y tuvo que huir de su país para escapar de la violencia. Durante su largo y arriesgado recorrido, fue víctima de violencia sexual. Como muchas sobrevivientes, ha tenido que enfrentar su proceso en completo silencio, cargando con heridas emocionales y físicas muy profundas.

Finalmente, logró llegar a los Estados Unidos y salir de la custodia del gobierno federal. Sin embargo, su situación sigue siendo extremadamente vulnerable:

Hoy, Marcela es madre de un bebé recién nacido, y se encuentra sin empleo, sin familia cercana y sin los recursos básicos para sobrevivir.

¿Por qué estamos recaudando fondos?

Marcela necesita ayuda urgente para cubrir necesidades básicas y comenzar a construir una vida más estable y segura para ella y su hijo.

Los fondos serán utilizados para:

Alimentación y pañales para su bebé y para ella

Atención médica postparto

Apoyo legal para su situación migratoria

Terapia psicológica especializada

Help Marcela: An Immigrant Mother Fighting to Move Forward

Hello, my name is Victoria. Those who know me know that I dedicate my life to causes like this one.

Today, I’m organizing this fundraiser to support Marcela, a young immigrant woman who urgently needs our solidarity.

Marcela is originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, and had to flee her country to escape violence. During her long and dangerous journey, she was a victim of sexual violence. She eventually made it to the United States and was released from federal custody. However, her situation remains extremely vulnerable:

Today, Marcela is the mother of a newborn baby, and she finds herself without a job, without close family, and without the basic resources needed to survive.

Why are we raising funds?

Marcela urgently needs support to cover basic needs and to begin building a safer, more stable life for herself and her baby.

The funds will be used for:

Food and diapers for her baby and herself

Postpartum medical care

Legal support for her immigration case

Specialized psychological therapy
