Ayuda a Teresa a volver a caminar

Soy Oriana Quevedo hija mayor de Teresa Carrero! Mi mamá tiene 71 años, en noviembre del año pasado sufrió una caída y resultó en fractura del tobillo derecho, desde la fecha ha estado necesitando cuidados porque la posición de la fractura ameritaba reposo de tres meses para su consolidación, el 8 de febrero ya dando algunos pasos con la andadera se volvió a caer, fracturándose la cabeza del fémur de la pierna izquierda! Fue operada de esa fractura pero ha presentado un cuadro muy doloroso, infección de la herida y rigidez muscular por la falta de movimiento desde la primera caida! Son 4 meses de cuidado y necesita seguir con los cuidados por un tiempo más ya que sigue en cama con dolor, controlando la infección y la rigidez muscular, tanto ella como de

Mariangelica necesitan cuidados 24/7, mi mamá necesita fisioterapia todos los días para ver si mejora la rigidez muscular y pueda volver a caminar! Son aproximadamente 30 terapias que necesita más seguir con los cuidados diarios.

para los que no conocen a mi hermana Mariangelica es una persona especial con síndrome Cornelia de Lange con una edad metal de una niña menor de dos años que no entiende de la situación y está sumergida en su mundo, se necesitan cuidados tiempo completo para las dos, seguir cumpliendo los medicamentos, terapias, pañales, enfermera para el tratamiento, cuidadoras, etc.

Help Teresa walk again to continue taking care of Mariangelica

I'm Oriana Quevedo, the oldest Daughter of Teresa Carrero! Mi mom is 71 years old, last november she fell and ended up having an ankle fracture, since that moment, she's been needing help because the position of the fracture needed a 3 months rest for it to consolidate. On february 8th while she was starting to walk with the help of a walker, she fell again, fracturing this time the head of the femur of her left leg!. She went under surgery to fix the fracture but she has been under a very painful post-op since, her wound got infected and she's been presenting muscular stiffness because of the lack of movement since her first fall. It has been 4 months of nurse care and it will take longer since she's been in bed with a lot of pain, taking care of the infection and also her muscular stiffness. Both Teresa and Mariangelica need special care 24/7. My mom needs physical therapy every day to see if the muscular stiffness improves and help Teresa walk again. She needs approximately 30 sessions and continues nurse care.

For those that doesn't know who my sister is, she's a special needs person with Cornelia de Lange syndrome with a mental age of a child less than 2 years old that doesn't understand the situation going on and very self absorbed into her own world, they both need full time nurse care, plus medicines,physical therapy, diapers and all that goes with being in bed almost 24/7.
