Hello everyone,

My name is Valentina Giraldo and today I want to tell you my story. For some time in my life, a series of things have happened that have affected my peace of mind and my well-being in Australia. I was forced to make the difficult decision to return to Colombia permanently after living in Australia for 7 years. As part of the process of recovering my mental health, it is a decision that I had to make in order to give all the best of myself to my 1 and a half year old daughter.

During my time in Australia I developed anxiety and as part of the treatment nutella came into my life. She has been with me since I was a baby and has been my emotional support and unfortunately due to the high costs I cannot take her with me. Perhaps you will say "find her another family" but those of us who love animals will understand how difficult it is to leave them behind, they cannot simply be abandoned, I wish she could continue her journey with me and take her to Colombia because she plays a very important role in my life and not to leave her with another family that may give her a lot of love. This go fund is my hope so that Nutella can travel with us to Colombia on April 11. With difficulty she was able to cover the return expenses of my daughter and myself. That's why I find myself in the painful obligation to ask for help because I don't have access to my superannuation or my taxes before leaving the country.

Many will say that it is my responsibility to assume the cost of the dog's trip, but the decision was made as a last measure and for our well-being, I resort to this means to make it possible for the dog to return with us.

I wholeheartedly thank the people who, because of the love they have for animals, want to help me make this possible.
