Hola, mi nombre es Javier Gómez y estoy recaudando fondos para mi tía, Nelly Ramos Zavarce.

Desde muy pequeña, Nelly ha vivido con miastenia, una enfermedad neuromuscular que debilita sus músculos y su sistema inmunológico. A lo largo de su vida ha enfrentado múltiples batallas por su salud, siempre con valentía, fe y una fuerza admirable. Hoy, sin embargo, se encuentra ante uno de sus desafíos más críticos.

Hace unos días, un quiste hepático de 10 milímetros estalló, provocando un derrame interno que ha afectado otros órganos vitales, transformando esta situación en una verdadera emergencia médica. A esta complicación se sumó una neumonía silenciosa, detectada a tiempo gracias al seguimiento constante de los médicos. Actualmente, Nelly está internada en una clínica privada en Venezuela, siendo estabilizada por un equipo de profesionales que lucha junto a ella por su recuperación.

La situación económica en Venezuela es muy complicada. Los hospitales públicos enfrentan graves carencias y representan un riesgo para casos tan delicados como el de Nelly. Por eso, su atención en una clínica privada, la Acosta Ortiz de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, no es un lujo, sino una necesidad urgente para preservar su vida y brindarle un tratamiento digno y adecuado.

Nelly ha dedicado años de su vida a servir con amor y entrega en la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, dando lo mejor de su fe al prójimo con una fuerza espiritual inquebrantable. Su vocación por ayudar, consolar y acompañar ha sido una luz para muchos. Hoy, esa misma fe y esa misma comunidad la sostienen con oraciones, palabras de aliento y apoyo sincero desde distintos rincones del mundo.

No sabemos aún cuánto tiempo ni qué nivel de gastos implicará esta situación. Pero sí sabemos que, paso a paso, con confianza y apoyo colectivo, podemos ir saldando las dificultades económicas y construyendo esperanza.

On top of this, she was also diagnosed with silent pneumonia, detected just in time thanks to the constant care of her doctors. Nelly is currently hospitalized in a private clinic in Venezuela, where a team of dedicated professionals is working tirelessly to stabilize and care for her.

The economic situation in Venezuela is extremely difficult. Public hospitals face serious shortages and, for cases as delicate as Nelly’s, they represent a significant risk. Private clinics are not a luxury—they are a necessity when it comes to providing safe and proper treatment.

For years, Nelly has faithfully served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, giving the best of her spirit to others with unwavering devotion and strength. Her life has been a reflection of compassion and faith in action. Today, that same community of faith—along with family and friends—is standing by her side, praying and supporting her from all corners of the world.

We do not yet know how long her recovery will take, nor the total financial burden it will require. But we do know this: with trust, unity, and your support, we can begin to overcome the financial challenges step by step and bring hope back into her path.
