Ayuda a mi mamá a proteger su salud y su visión

Queridos amigos y familia, conocidos y desconocidos, hoy me dirijo a ustedes con el corazón en la garganta, pero con esperanza y fe de que juntos podemos hacer algo increible.

Mi mamá, quienes algunos conocen por Herminia, otros por María Herminia, Licenciada Daza o Runa, es una mujer maravillosa y siempre comprometida con el bienestar de los demás, ha sido diagnosticada con carcinoma basocelular infiltrante en el canto interno del ojo derecho. Este tipo de cáncer, aunque tratable, se encuentra en una zona extremadamente sensible, lo que lo hace aún más delicado.

Además, se ha detectado un segundo carcinoma basocelular en la zona paranasal, los cuales requieren un procedimiento quirúrgico altamente especializado. Los médicos han recomendado la cirugía de Mohs, una técnica precisa y avanzada que elimina el cáncer mientras protege el tejido sano y las estructuras esenciales del ojo. Este tratamiento es indispensable para preservar su salud y evitar complicaciones mayores.

El costo de este procedimiento, junto con los exámenes previos y el seguimiento médico, es más alto de lo que podemos cubrir en este momento. Por eso, me dirijo a ustedes con humildad y confianza, pidiéndoles su apoyo para recaudar los fondos necesarios.

Todo el que ha tenido la dicha de conocerla sabe que Herminia, mi mamá, es una persona que siempre ha dado lo mejor de sí por los demás, poniendo su corazón en cada acto de amor y generosidad. Ahora, es una oportunidad para devolverle un poco de lo mucho que ha dado.

Help my mom protect her health and vision

Dear friends and family, acquaintances and strangers, today I reach out to you with the heart in the throat, but with hope and faith that together we can do something incredible.

My mother, who some of you know as Herminia, others as María Herminia, Licenciada Daza or Runa, is a wonderful woman who has always been committed to the well-being of others, has been diagnosed with infiltrating basal cell carcinoma in the inner corner of her right eye.
