Desde el 25 de octubre de 2025, nuestra familia está viviendo uno de los momentos más difíciles de su vida. Ese día, muy temprano en la mañana, recibí una llamada de un compañero de trabajo de mi esposo informándome que había sido detenido injustamente por ICE.

Mi esposo trabaja como conductor de Uber. Es un hombre amable, respetuoso, trabajador y responsable, siempre con sus documentos en regla y consigo. Nunca ha tenido ningún problema con la ley, y quienes lo conocen pueden dar fe de que es un buen esposo, padre e hijo, dedicado en cuerpo y alma a su familia.

Somos una familia cristiana que siempre ha procurado vivir conforme a los valores de la fe, la honestidad, el respeto y la obediencia a las leyes y al Estado. Por eso, esta situación ha sido profundamente dolorosa e injusta para nosotros.

Desde su detención, mi hija Sofía y yo —Valeria— hemos quedado solas y en una situación económica muy limitada, ya que él era nuestro único sustento. No contamos con los recursos necesarios para cubrir los gastos legales, honorarios de abogados y procesos migratorios que esta situación requiere. Cada día se hace más difícil sostener el hogar y mantener la esperanza en medio de tanta incertidumbre.

Por esta razón, hemos decidido iniciar esta campaña con el corazón en la mano, pidiendo la solidaridad de todos aquellos que puedan colaborar. Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que parezca, será una gran bendición y una muestra de apoyo en este momento tan difícil.

Since October 25, 2025, our family has been going through one of the most difficult moments of our lives. That morning, I received a call from one of my husband’s co-workers informing me that he had been unjustly detained by ICE.

My husband works as an Uber driver. He is a kind, respectful, hardworking, and responsible man who always carries his documents with him and keeps everything in order. He has never had any problems with the law, and those who know him can testify that he is a devoted husband, father, and son — dedicated with all his heart to his family.

We are a Christian family who has always sought to live according to the values of faith, honesty, respect, and obedience to the laws and the State. That is why this situation has been so painful and unfair for us.

Since his detention, my daughter Sofía and I —Valeria— have been left alone and in a very limited financial situation, as he was our only source of income. We do not have the resources to cover the legal expenses, attorney fees, and immigration processes that this situation requires. Each day it becomes harder to sustain our home and hold on to hope amid so much uncertainty.

For this reason, we have decided to start this campaign with our hearts in our hands, asking for the solidarity of all those who can help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be a great blessing and a sign of support in this difficult time.
