¿Cuántas cosas te faltan por hacer a los 44 años?

Esta es la historia de Mercedes Heroína Vallejo Encarnación, una mujer Dominicana de 44 años, luchadora, trabajadora y soñadora, una mujer alegre y divertida con ganas de seguir trabajando y vivir cada instante de su vida. Sus mayores deseos son ver a sus hijos graduarse del colegio y la Universidad, sus hijos apenas son pequeños de tan sólo 11 y 13 años de edad.

Pero el año 2022 le trajo una mala noticia, fue diagnosticada con Cáncer de Mama Luminal B en Estado IV, fue diagnosticado el 20/01/2022 de Carcinoma Ductal infiltrante de mama IZQUIERDA, en estadio Anatómico IIIA, Estadío Pronóstico Clínico IIIA, perfil pronóstico luminal B.

Actualmente se presenta en recurrencia visceral y ósea, en Junio 2023 (a 12 meses de cirugía), en quien se inicia tratamiento paliativo con Letrozol, Palbociclib, más Acido Zoledrónico.

Esta atravesando esta batalla con coberturas muy limitadas que al mes pueden llegar a costar alrededor de los USD$10,000.00.

Hoy nos necesita a todos para ayudarla en su batalla. Cada moneda y aportación en el gofundme será para recaudar fondos para los medicamentos y quimioterapias que le faltan y así lograr ser una sobreviviente al cáncer.

How many things do you still have to do at 44 years old?

This is the story of Mercedes Heroína Vallejo Encarnación. A 44-year-old Dominican woman, a fighter, a hard working mother of two, a dreamer, an unconditional friend, with a happy and fun spirit who wants to continue working and live every moment of her life. Her greatest wish: to see her children graduate from high school and college and become men of good for the society and role models for their children.

But the year 2022 brought her bad news, she was diagnosed with Luminal B Breast Cancer in Stage IV, she was diagnosed on 01/20/2022 with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma of the LEFT breast, in Anatomical stage IIIA, Clinical Prognostic Stage IIIA, profile luminal prognosis B.

She currently presents with visceral and bone recurrence, in June 2023 (12 months after surgery), in which she begins palliative treatment with Letrozole, Palbociclib, plus Zoledronic Acid.

She is facing this battle full of bravery and encouragement waking up every day with a smile in her face and a heart full of hope.

Her treatment is very expensive with a total bill of around $10,000 dollars per month. Her medical insurance coverage is very limited and for that reason today she needs all of us to help her in her battle. Every penny, every nickel, every dime, every quarter, every dollar counts to support the contribution in the gofundme account that will be raising funds for the medications and chemotherapies that she needs and with the Grace of God will turn her into a joyful Survivor.
