Mi nombre es Matías Leonardo Sibila Vargas, tengo 22 meses, vivo en Venezuela y, aunque tengo control pediátrico regular desde que nací, recientemente me diagnosticaron una Displasia del desarrollo de mi cadera derecha con variación reductible e inestable, por lo que requiero una operación urgente para poder caminar bien, si no, quedaré con una cojera permanente y los síntomas irán cada vez a peor. Hoy en día mi marcha es inestable y, aunque camino, se me es difícil y, a menudo, tropiezo y pierdo el equilibrio.  

Mis padres son profesionales pero debido a la situación de mi país (Venezuela) ellos no tienen los recursos para pagar mi cirugía. Mi mamá, Eleydy Vargas, es Maestra de Educación Inicial (Preescolar) y gana 4$ mensuales y mi papá, Joseph Sibila, es Ingeniero en Sistemas y gana 40$ mensuales. Necesito reunir 4.500 $ para los gastos de la cirugía y la rehabilitación. Esta opción es la única que me garantizará la oportunidad de llevar una vida normal, poder caminar y correr como un niño sano. Cuento contigo para llegar a esta meta. Hello everyone,

My name is Matías Leonardo Sibila Vargas, I am 22 monthsold and I live with my parents in Venezuela. I was recently diagnosed with a developmental dysplasia of my right hip bone with reducible and unstable variation. In order to walk properly for the rest of my life I have to go through a surgical procedure as soon as possible, otherwise I will live with a permanent disability and the symptoms are going to get worse and worse. Right now my posture is unstable and, although I can walk, it is very difficult for me to maintain a straight posture and I lose my balance very often.

Both of my parents have a career, my mom is a pre-school teacher and my dad is an Engineer but with the detrimental situation in our country, Venezuela, the income of 44$ per month is not enough to pay for the surgical act and the physical therapy required after it.

Because of this unfortunate situation I am asking for your help. My parents and I will be very grateful if you could help us raise the amount of 4.500$ to cover all the expenses. Any amount you donate to help with this cause would be appreciated, even 1 dollar will make a difference. Your prayers for the medical team, my family and I will be also welcomed.

La organizadora de esta recolecta soy yo, Marta Riera Lahuerta, española y pareja de Jhonás Sibila Vegas, hermano del papá y tío de Matías, el niño que requiere la cirugía de cadera.
Soy tía política de Matías y cuñada de sus papás. Debido a la situación en la que se encuentra la familia de mi pareja, Jhonás, he decidido realizar esta recolecta de dinero para intentar recaudar lo suficiente para costear parte de la operación. The fundraiser organizer is me, Marta Riera Lahuerta. I am a Spanish citizen and partner of Jhonás Sibila Vegas. He is the brother of Matias' dad and so his uncle. Matías is the 22 months old boy in need of an urgent hip surgery. I am Matías' aunty and sister in law of his parents.
