María Fernanda Ruiz, o Mafe, como todo el mundo la conoce, es una persona que siempre se puso en segundo lugar para ayudar a todo el mundo primero, y en este momento necesita tu ayuda.

Desde hace ya más de un año Mafe ha estado combatiendo un cáncer de útero que le cambió la vida por completo. Hace unos meses los exámenes indicaban que lo había vencido y que todas las operaciones y sesiones de quimio y radioterapia habían cumplido su cometido, pero lamentablemente, hoy el resultado es otro. A principios del mes de noviembre del 2023 mi madre se ve en la necesidad de ir a hacer otros exámenes después de haber sufrido de COVID-19, ya que su salud se deterioró después del contagio: en este momento se encuentra combatiendo una obstrucción de las vías biliares debido a que el hígado está comprometido con un tumor.

En este momento Mafe necesita operarse de urgencia para recibir un Cateterismo Biliar Hepatico utilizando un Stent (endoprótesis). Esto es para liberar con urgencia los canales biliares y determinar con exactitud el estado actual del hígado. Su estado es bastante delicado, pues presentaba ictericia y un alto grado de intoxicación en su organismo. Con ayuda de unos médicos muy solidarios, pudo realizarse un procedimiento quirúrgico en un hospital público para drenar las vías biliares y poder sobrevivir mientras se logra hacer el Cateterismo Biliar Hepático.

Mi mamá ha estado peleando esta batalla por más de un año, ha agotado todos sus recursos económicos y no tiene seguro médico privado.

Ella necesita de tu ayuda urgentemente; todas las donaciones serán utilizadas para el pago de la cirugía, los insumos, medicamentos, exámenes y consultas médicas, además de poder ayudarla con sus gastos del día a día, ya que, debido a su condición, le es imposible trabajar para conseguir más dinero.

El cateterismo biliar se encuentra en aproximadamente $10.000 sin contar nada de lo demás que mi madre va a necesitar alrededor de la operación.

Sabemos cuán difíciles son las circunstancias actuales de quienes enfrentan problemas de salud. Toda ayuda que puedan dar, será una verdadera bendición.

With the help of some very supportive doctors, a surgical procedure was performed in a public hospital to drain the bile ducts and be able to stabilize her to survive while we manage to find the funds for the Stent.

My mother has been fighting this battle for over a year now and she has exhausted all her financial resources and has no health insurance. As such She urgently needs your help.

All donations will be used to pay for the surgical procedure, the supplies, medications, exams and medical consultations, in addition to helping her with her day-to-day expenses, since, due to her condition, it is impossible for her to work in her current state.

Just the Stent Surgery comes up to $10.000. And that's without taking into account all the things she is going to need around the surgery.
