Ayuda a Lina a Sobrellevar Cáncer Terminal

Mi nombre es Lina Pineda soy originaria de México. Tengo 36 años de edad y he estado luchando contra el cáncer desde el año 2023. En noviembre de ese año, mientras vivía en Zurich, Suiza, fui diagnosticada con cáncer de mama con metástasis ósea y ganglionar.

La noticia fue un shock para mi y para mi familia -debido a la avanzada naturaleza del cáncer, los doctores no me dieron mucha esperanza. Tratamientos como radiación, quimioterapia, e incluso la mastectomía, no eran opciones viables -mi cáncer se alimenta de la hormona estrógeno. Así que, la única opción era la terapia hormonal, la cual frenaría el desarrollo del cáncer y me daría más tiempo. Pero después de 6 meses de tratamiento, quedé muy débil e incapaz de continuar sobrellevando los efectos secundarios del tratamiento viviendo sola en Europa.

En abril del año 2024, me vi forzada a tomar una decisión muy difícil -después de construir una hermosa vida en Suiza durante 15 años, rodeada de queridos amigos, decidí regresar a México.

Desde entonces, mi familia me ha apoyado con las únicas opciones viables -un tratamiento alternativo conocido como terapia Neural, sueroterapias (vitamina C, albúmina, etc.) y terapia de frecuencias proveída por una clínica local, así como con la continuación de la terapia hormonal. A pesar de frenar la propagación del cáncer al resto de mis órganos, el tratamiento no ha frenado el avance del cáncer de mama.

Cada día, me veo forzada a sobrellevar dolor debilitante en el pecho, los brazos, el cuello y la cabeza. No puedo dormir, tengo falta de energía, falta de hambre y he perdido mucha movilidad en mi brazo izquierdo, resultado de la inflamación dolorosa y constante.

Hasta ahora hemos sido capaces de costear los tratamientos, sin embargo, a medida que la enfermedad avanza, se ha vuelto muy evidente que se requerirá atención médica que no podemos pagar, y la cual no puede ser tratada en el sector de la salud pública.

Cualquier contribución, no importa lo pequeña, será una bendición para mi y para mi familia. Me permitirá recibir tratamiento adicional que mi doctor me ha recomendado como última opción para combatir el cáncer. Se llama Viscum Album (Helixor) y tiene un costo de 3,500 USD cada 2 meses. Ese tratamiento ha tenido muy buenos resultados, incluso en pacientes con metástasis, sin embargo es un tratamineto experimental.

Tu contribución también ayudará a que continúe con los tratamientos paliativos que me ayudarán a llevar una vida más cómoda y digna -fisioterapia para mejorar el movimiento de mi brazo, masajes linfáticos y medicina para tratar el dolor.

My name is Lina Pineda, and I'm from Mexico. In November of 2023, while living in Zurich, I was diagnosed with an invasive form of breast cancer.

The news came as a shock to me and my family—due to the advanced nature of the disease at the time, the doctors couldn’t offer many options. Radiation, chemotherapy, and mastectomy were all not possible. And so, I began the only option: hormone therapy, which would slow the process and hopefully give me more time. But after 6 months of treatment, I was left very weak, and unable to cope with the side effects, while living alone in Europe.

In April 2024, I moved back home to Mexico. Since then, we have been able to afford the only available treatment options—an alternative treatment called neural therapy, in conjunction with hormone therapy, provided by a private clinic nearby. Despite improvements in limiting the spread of the disease to other parts of her body, the treatment has not slowed the progression of the breast cancer itself.

Every day, I am forced to cope with debilitating pain in the chest, arms, neck, and head. I can’t sleep, lack energy, and have lost complete mobility in my left arm, due to the constant and painful inflammation.

Until now, we have been able to afford these various treatments, but as the illness has progressed, it is very evident that I will need medical attention that we simply cannot afford, and which is not covered by public healthcare.

Any contribution you can make, no matter how small, will be a blessing me and our family. It will allow me to receive an additional treatment that her doctor has recommended to ease the pain and terminal symptoms. It is called Viscum Album (Helixor).
